With regards to Solihulls ground, I was speaking to one of their supporters and he seemed to think they are trying to get an extension to next season for completion of ground improvements. Car Park brought back vivid memories of Homelands ( ). Unfortunately so did the performance as well

Ah yes the National league will agree to that....not, they like everybody else need to ensure it's up and ready to standard by the end of March Oliver is on the committee that decides these things. If they're not ready on schedule and we are 4th from the bottom, that should be an interesting meeting!

Not once you get a few portacabins behind there. Why are you arguing about it anyway. Anyone would think you don't like the design. I'm not arguing about it - I asked a question and I am now answering your replies. I am not nws! You could be right - that the 'tunnels' are designed for access to the underneath/back of the stand. But, given that they take up valuable standing/seated room, they seem a bit overkill, as there appears to be plenty of room to walk round the back of the stand (as per the TE). Hence my suggestions that they might be 'future proofing' - for when there is something 'inside' the stand - or maybe, because of it's size, they are required for H&S reasons for rapid evacuation. The way I understand it is terrace capacities are not only decided on the size only its often decided on how quickly you can evaluate them. Often smaller terraces have larger capacities then much larger ones. Our new stand will have four exits with a capacity of 1770. Without the two tunnels the only way we could possible have achieved such a capacity would to have hugely increase the size of front the walk way. Therefore moveing the stand further away from the pitch then there would be no room behind the stand at all.

That is precisely what I do so, yes, you are very much me although you are reading a bit like pmh to me. The difference is I stopped. Once I have replied I stop. It's just that people stay awake long enough to read my replies and make another reply to my reply and so it goes on.

I like the way they are catering for all those who want to sit/stand behind the goal.

I'm sure Conway are a decent sponsor, but it's another case of money ahead of the fan. I'll be OK but kids and the likes of meerkat and trolley are going to struggle to see over those hoardings.

Trolley's gone soft! He's staying up in the seats with a blanket over his knees and a hot water bottle!

On the subject of Solihull, I'd say even if they don't quite make the ground grading they should stay up (if not bottom 4). They've made a clear effort to try and improve the ground, and from what I hear it's no worse than the likes of Woking and BW's grounds.
