Billericay lost 4-2 to Enfield today, who are now three points ahead and in the play-offs.

They only averaged 550 this season. Christ knows where he expects these other 2000 regular fans to appear from...

It's always so condensending when you see chairman talking like this - 'make the effort' and 'not good enough', etc. They really feel just because they've invested in the club, everyone else now has an obligation to fill their stadiums and massage their egos. Yeah, good luck Glenn...

There seems to be almost a law of nature about attendances. Generally speaking, clubs that have traditionally had only small attendances will struggle to get much bigger gates, almost whatever happens. They may get larger gates for a while, whilst the good times roll, but there'll never be as good as the money man thinks they should be - and they'll go straight back down the minute the money tap is turned off.
True, a few clubs have managed to build decent gates, but only a very few, and they have usually done it over quite a long period, with steady improvement in football and facilities, so that the locals start to feel that the club really has changed and the improvements are here to stay.
It never ceases to surprise me that there seems to be an endless line of moderately rich business men who are either completely unaware of the history of Billy Big Bollocks clubs, or somehow imagine that they will be the one to do it differently.

Just looking at the signings they have made over the last few days: Matt Paine (Boreham Wood) Rob Evans (Wrexham) Joshua Urquhart (Wealdstone) Ricky Modeste (Dover Athletic) Louie Theophanous (Chelmsford City) Dan Walker (Welling United) Danny Waldren (Welling United) Rumours as well that Sam Deering from Gravesend is on his way there. To be honest, this is a much better side than what Margate had when they were challenging for the title. The other teams might as well not bother turning up but like we have seen in the past, money doesn't guarantee you success.

Should win the league in a walk IF they play as a team.

The meltdown if they somehow don't win the league is gonna be a sight to see I have to say the guy does look completely ridiculous in situations like this, but to be fair to him he does seem genuinely passionate about it all and it looks like he can laugh at himself. It is his money after all, and if he wants to throw it into a club, why not? Not something I'd like invested in my club, but if their fans are happy and it gets more people watching non-league football all the best to the cooky bastard...

Nothing says responsible like having young children standing without a seatbelt whilst driving, all to do a video for laughs.

Nothing says responsible like having young children standing without a seatbelt whilst driving, all to do a video for laughs. Seatbelts and suitable car seats etc. Soft heads burst on windscreen like watermelons (I've seen two, not nice). Still not him but the driver who would pay the fines and get the possible points

Maybe we will see another Michael Jackson baby balcony incident this season too 😂

A child's head hitting the back of yours at 30mph is also pretty lethal.
There was one of those interesting sociological experiments carried out many years ago, where they got people to drive young children on a specified route, and then got them to drive the same route with expensive china on the back seat. Predictably, people weren't too bothered about their kids being belted in, but went to extreme lengths to make sure the china was safe...
