Whatever else, the good folk of Essex love a winning team, a seasons high 829 see Billericay humble Burgess Hill 4 - 0 yesterday. The 'bandwagon' gains momentum.....

Bigger crowd was because a Joey Essex type was guest assistant manager.

We all know where this will end. I was thinking the other day who/what this reminded me of, and I came to the conclusion that it was Michael Knighton at Man U and Carlisle. But when I looked him up, he'd actually done OK at Carlisle - nothing spectacular, but he lasted 10 years, and by the time they got rid of him they'd got a new stand* out of it at least. (*curiously several metres longer than the pitch!)

I'd wonder where they all managed to park ?

Pretty conclusively beat DH away today 3-0 - in front of over 2,800!
And by a very weird bit of fixture planning, they play them again on Tuesday. Win that one and they're in the play-offs - at Tonbridge's expense.
Wonder what the gate for that one will be?

I suspect it wasn't down to original fixture planning.
Regardless, pretty conclusively beaten by DH at home in front of over 1,300!
