Adverts outside it at the moment setting up staff interviews - change of career path anyone ? Where is this? I walked down Bank Street just a couple of days ago and don't remember seeing any ads. I was pissing down, though... Used to be 'the Beluga Bar' I think.............

Bump for the Lincoln fans. Hope you're pleased with a third of our shiny new stand. Looking forward to a good old fashioned league atmosphere. I prefer a friendly non-league atmosphere

Stopped off in ' Ye Olde Thirsty Pig ' for a crafty pint of bitter from the Tonbridge Brewery & the 'talk' was all about the Micro Pilot - details as above ( ? opening hours might be extended ? ).

Updated for Palace fans and the new season. Most of them will be too young to go to the pub

Bump for Oldham fans asking on their forum. Not sure if Drake's is open right now. It isn't.

Just read that information they found and pasted on their forum. Don't know who wrote that, but it says our stadium was 'cut out of a hillside.' Not quite accurate lol. In terms of travel and drinking info it is still fairly accurate I'd say, but do the Lions still run the charity car park? I always walk to the ground down the towpath so I wouldn't know, but I thought that had stopped ages ago.

And whilst we weren't "cut out of a hillside", you can see why people think it looks like that. And the original parade ground must have been - nature doesn't usually provide a flat area the size of a football stadium on a river bank! Interesting comparison that's only just struck me - the old ground was similar, in that one end was built on a slope up to higher ground - and, presumably, the original athletic ground was cut out of a 'hillside'?
