Never heard of it. And I walk down Week St at least 3 or 4 times a week! Down the side of KFC with a giant awning over the alleyway. When I got home from Coventry at 2am there were people mingling outside. Used to be a great little hippy lefty community cafe called Stepping Stones, or something similar. They did homebaked cake, real ale, and an art club for my child.

I'm hoping to watch the Semi-final in the Spitfire lounge but does anyone know if any pubs in Maidstone will be showing the game as I'd imagine Spitfire may be full to capacity?

That end of Week St has really gone down hill over the last few years. Our quickest way into town is via Brewer St, but you never know what you're going to find at the end of the street. Even just diverting slightly and coming in via Union St makes a huge difference.

The Eagle at the junction of Brewer St and Wheeler St (opposite the Spice Hut) usually shows our games, but it's not a pub I'd recommend.

If you want a pub showing the play offs, you probably need to ask them and tell them about NLTV for £9.50, compared to the £1000 a month they’re paying for Sky. If there’s money in it, they’ll show it.

That’s daylight robbery.
Although it’s doubtful the National League have the same inspectors as Sky.
You’d have to sell a lot of beer to cover £180.

Presumably anyone could pay £9.50 to get it on their phone and then ‘cast’ it onto the pub’s tv for all to see?

Why would I go to that. I'm not interested in hairdressing!

God, that made me feel old! Back in the day (sadly now 20-30 years ago...) I would have seen many of those acts and have known of many more, but now I don't recognise any of them...
