Forest Green are splashing the cash again They're not paying Jon Parkin's wages any more. That was probably a fair amount. Parkin was paid in pies. Vegetarian of course ! |

Bulletin from West Yorkshire:
Guiseley took a 3-0 half time lead against a second string Leeds team who prevailed 3-4 in the end having replaced their madcap Italian keeper at half time. Looks like Guiseley's loss of key players at the end of last season - mostly to relegated Halifax might be a problem with the season just a couple of weeks away.

Ryan Bird of Yeovil Town just signed for Eastleigh. He's hardly prolific but he's had spells at Yeovil, Cambridge and Portsmouth so I feel he'll do a job for them.
