But Dreamland was the great hope for Kent. Then it wasn't. Things can change.

The more important question is Kuwaiti European Holdings committed to the Paramount development? Judging by the way they have been buying up businesses and land in the area, I'd say they are pretty serious about it They've blighted a lot of land and threatened the survival of local businesses, but it's not clear to me that they have bought all that much. They have also failed to file accounts on time again this year, and pushed back the date for the application of planning permission to 2017 and the date for opening in 2021 looks to be in doubt. Other than that it's all going swimmingly :-) www.kentonline.co.uk/kent-business/county-news/paramount-developer-late-accounts-96761/

I just checked the Companies House website and the KEHC Accounts are still overdue. In addition to this the LRCH Annual Return is now also overdue. The EUFC Company filings are all OK although their next Annual Return is due by the end of this month.

The whole point of incorporating Ebbsfleet in the project is hilarious, no one who visits from London, Europe etc is going to watch a team in the conference south.

But it's not about people going to watch Gravesend and Northfleet. If a property developer can show they have invested an amount of money in the local area they stand a better chance of getting planning accepted. I can only assume they think the larger the amount of money thrown away the greater the chance of planning approval.

I think Ebbsfleet is all about having a vehicle to improve planning permission chances. MK FC is a good example of such a thing. Very pleasingly they got relegated this year and the sooner they go bust the better. It is the only club I hope goes bust.

Also think we are forgetting the building of the new town, Ebbsfleet Garden City, which has just been started and the football ground will eventually be in the centre of!

The company would cease to exist and all of their assets pass to the Crown. I am sure Her Majesty has always wanted to own a football ground located at the backside of Kent.

I would say so,they are owned by a local company who have sponsored the team for the last few years, regarding the stadium they have been trying to find a suitable piece of land to build a new ground since 2009

Ex Bromley chairman and manager Mark Goldberg is an interesting character. en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mark_GoldbergSometimes a unique style of writing on Wikipedia leaves you wondering who wrote the entry... "Unfortunately his backers didn't mirror his own investment which left him and the club underfunded" My memory is of an unwise spending spree. "The Goldberg family helped him climb out of this and he returned to a normal life working in agency." What did they help him climb out of? "Mark has been the most successful manager in the clubs history, and his record speaks for itself." Maybe true, but not very objective writing.
