Jesus. Ref should be suspended for that. Fylde should be fined and made to sort out them small barriers around the pitch, they're not safe, and I wonder how they were even allowed in the first place. |

(or at least one that's actually got discussion on it). This player had a potentially career (even life) ending injury because of a very badly designed perimeter fence/advertising hording. Plus the ref allowed the game to go, despite the obvious severity of the injury (the very head injury that games are supposed to be stopped immediately for). And yet neither issue seems to be deemed important or even newsworthy. |

That is truly appalling. Also, what is going on with those double barriers? The first to catch shins and knees and after being tripped, or been pushed over then, the second waiting to smash your face into.
There is a very strong argument to have the first removed and the second with some sort of additional protection.
Games at Fylde should be postponed until the club sort them out. Criminal charges for the defender and the ref suspended, pending sacking.

I can never take the 'Kuflink' Stadium seriously! Looks like they've done a Maidstone - cracking promotion season, followed by death spiral in the NL, with everyone puzzled how the same management team can achieve both. But I fear (who am I kidding?!) they've left it too late. A nice quote from the 'thanks for all your effort, but you're sacked' statement: "Under the stewardship of Dennis and Chris, the club won its fifth league title, broke numerous records in doing so, reached the Emirates FA Cup First and Second Rounds" Only the second round? Pah! |
