Does anyone know how the tops NLS clubs are doing for ground grading? www.groundgrading.co.uk/newpage35dc15cfObviously ourselves, Dartford and Ebbsfleet are fine. St Albans have a grade B. Dorking have just done works to maintain NLS grading. Do Oxford, Eastbourne, Hungerford, Dulwich and Chippenham have work to do?

1.17 TV Gantry/Camera platform A permanent TV gantry or camera platform that meets the following minimum criteria: Clubs are to provide a suitable position in the stadium from which to film single camera footage of matches. This should be exactly on the halfway line, facing away from the sun and protected from the weather, at least 4 metres above pitch level, and have a nearby 13A power socket. The ideal angle is 12-14 degrees to the centre line and 22-24 degrees from the near-side. If there is no existing gantry, a scaffold should be built, insured and properly maintained to Health & Safety Executive standards. Please note: The EFL issues its own guidelines for TV coverage facilities
Our gantry is not on the half way line and it faces the sun so will we need to build another in the close season. I know the scoreboard was not placed on the half way line because the club knew that the scaffolding for the TV cameras had to be on the river side.

Excellent Vlog from a young Dorking fan of their home disaster against Tonbridge. Looks like Barry Fuller was unlucky to get a straight red for a tackle that should have been a yellow for dangerous play, however if his footage is a reasonable representation of the state of the game it looks like Tonbridge were giving as good as they were getting before that. I would assume Dorking will want this lad's footage for an appeal as it is the best view you could possibly get of the incident. Nice to see players from both sides helping him out with interviews. Here is the link: www.youtube.com/watch?v=EcNXtEzc1fsNo different to Reagan Bootys challenge at Hungerford and he got a straight red when most felt a lot less was warranted for a fair challenge.

Indeed. My interpretation would be that it was a dangerous lunge, but he played the ball (and got a bit of it before the player) therefore it wasn't a cynical foul, making it a yellow rather than a red. I'd have thought they will have a decent chance of getting that reduced to a yellow based on this footage. Obviously this is highly relevant to our game because if the red stands, he could be suspended for our match and he is of course a key player for them.

I think The Hive was originally intended for Wealdstone so guessing that is the main reason for the destruction Wealdstone caused.

Wealdstone ran out of money building the ground. Barnet took it over and completed the build. Where the fault lies depends on whose side of the story you listen to but I think Barnet got it for a lot less than its real value.

In fairness, and until more details come to light, it was one of five National and National South games called off, and he said he wanted it to go ahead.
Dartford Vs Hungerford also off.
