What puzzles me most at the moment is the difference in how clubs are reacting. Judging from what little news we're getting, some clubs seem to be operating more or less as normal - sacking/recruiting managers, releasing players, even taking on new players - whilst others, like ours, seem to have gone into hibernation, with no news and nothing appearing to happen. Presumably, most of the players have gone now, with only 4 or 5 still on contract? And everyone else seems to have gone home! Hopefully, some sort of planning is being done, and the NL will announce what it's doing for next season this week. And then clubs will follow with announcements of their own - with luck, early next week. Then, at last, we'll have some idea of what, if any, football we'll be watching next season. The first paragraph, what makes you think the club have not been working behind the scenes putting into place plan a for this situation or plan b for this situation.Once there is a clear structure in place and we know what is happening then we might get a few updates fairly quickly, the problem is everyone is hanging around waiting for the premier league, as whatever they decide will filter through the leagues... That's exactly what I assume is happening! I meant nothing is happening at the club itself - there doesn't seem to even be anyone there - or anyone (staff) working from home.

The Premier league said they will play all remaining games at grounds far away from teams fanbases, so Manchester United will be playing at Old Trafford. Boom boom. In other news, at the first game back at the Gallagher, the Elvis End will hold a minute's silence. The Main Stand will give it their usual hour and a half.

We aren't silent We all spend 80 minutes moaning and shuffle off gauntly 10 minutes before the end

Think of how many 2-0 leads you see us throw away by leaving 10 minutes early...

Interesting - but still no actual conclusion!

Interesting - but still no actual conclusion! I think PPG is probably the best solution, financially at least. As with the contract situation if they determine a behind closed doors type ending before the 20/21 season a lot of clubs won’t be able to cobble together a squad due to no revenue

Hi All I hope you are all well, and that football will return for us all. I among others thought we were for the knackers yard, but this appointment would SEEM otherwise. As barney says, what league will we be in, personally I don't care, I just want to watch some games, but I don't think I'll see any this year. I think a massive restructure could occur through the leagues, with many teams sadly going out of business. Life is more important than football and I think life will never quite be the same for a long while yet, if at all. So to all of you on here, stay safe, and thanks with putting up with me...............

They are playing again in Hungary - with crowds. But the social distancing is very strict - alternate rows of seats empty, with two empty seats between each supporter. Fine in all-seater stadiums, where, typically, the capacity is at least 10 times the average gate, but how would we do that in the MS at JWW? What about all those ST holders who couldn't get seats - seats in the EE instead? That would take up a fair bit of room - and leave a lot of Main Standees even grumpier than usual.

Limit the crowd to 1000, make games all ticket and charge £25 a head? Bet there would be plenty who would pay, though the extra charge might hurt hospitality sales. If every game was a sell out (big if), then £25k a week wouldn't be far off what we were getting at the end of last season.

Yes, 1,000 capacity and all ticket makes sense.. Maybe Stones TV would be allowed to live stream games for a while?
