Unfortunately I saw none of the Bay goals (and indeed hardly an attack) in what was described as a decent first half display by those around me. Carshalton were able to pin Bay back for pretty much the whole of the last half an hour and scored one header, unmarked at the far post, and one real belting drive low into the corner from outside the box. When defending I though Bay went back into the penalty box too quickly and they didn't deal with crosses that convincingly. They brought on a young forward, in place of Kingy, who had plenty of pace but lacked a bit on positioning and thus never proved to be much of a threat. The best play I saw generally came through Dan Parkinson although he was subbed with 15/20 mins remaining.
EDIT TO SAY: THIS IS WHAT I SAW IN THE HERNE BAY V CARSHALTON GAME AT WINCH'S FIELD ON SATURDAY. WE PLAY HERNE BAY ON TUESDAY IN CASE ANY INDIVIDUAL MIGHT FORGET THAT IN AN ODD FIVE MINUTES AFTER POSTING SOMETHING ABOUT NOT GOING TO THE GAME.

Indeed, JDL. Underneath the label of General Chat it says you can chat about ANYTHING TO DO WITH Maidstone United. I am thus a little perplexed by the question put to me in the second post of the thread, as I would have thought it was fairly obvious.

Ok mate, you've lost me as well. Unless it's to do with former stones playing for Bay, but then that would mean the "Ex Stones, where are they now" topic should be in this section as well.
