Not all loyal supporters who have been there for years feel that they have to join any club, We all help in our own way, we support our side in different ways, regulars at games home and away, it would be a great gesture by the club to provide transport to those heathens who are not members of any supporters club to be part of this big day for once Agree with this. Think it is a poor show by the club to force people to join a membership scheme to hop on a coach. Nonsense to suggest things are anything to do with requiring names, I've known of professional sports clubs put 50 plus coaches onto an event far bigger than this with no need to be a 'member'.

As I said on another post - in the old days the club booked a train (Watford and Sheffield U, at least - poss Cambridge?). I know Stevenage isn't quite in that league, but a similar number are likely to travel. Mind you, on the SU one, coming back we got shunted into every siding possible while more important trains went by, there was nothing to eat or drink, and no bloody heating! Nice to be escorted from the station to the stadium by Plod though - just like real football fans!

Yep coach travel is definitely good value and did my first trip going to Biggleswade after years of driving to away games. I am a member of both fan clubs both bring good benefits and worth the small outlay. All you non imusc will be jealous when we all don our new Designer Polo shirts

It cost less than 2 pints but if you choose not to pay then that is your perogotave but why moan about it on here?

Oh deat...what have I started. I certainly wasn't having a moan, simply asked the question and am quite happy to pay the fiver. One more question though, since I can't get to the trophy game this Saturday, how do I sign up to imusc and book myself on the coach in time for next week.

My post was not directed at you Daveu as you were enquiring and had already stated you were than happy to pay. I just think there are certain posters that whinge about the club about ticketing arrangements travel etc and it is unjustified. The clubs owners are open and approachable and are trying to do the right things! take Thursday evening as an example, would you get this with other clubs? Let's all get behind the club! COYS!

Not touchy at all, I just find bullying people into joining a 'club' to take an organised coach to follow their likely newly supported team a poor show. Personally I couldn't care less about the coach seeing as I don't even live in Maidstone anymore but I find your attitude disappointing. A fiver is a fiver and if you feel that it is inconsequential then I reiterate, I will PM you my details as even though I live in London now, I would bloody love a badge at least.

You still have to pay for the seat which will be more than the fiver to join. Its about security ,the club wants to know who is traveling on its coaches to away games.

Those badges cost money ,they are given when you join ,its a fiver that goes back into the club ,are you some sort of freeloading gypo?.
