I see Welling lost 2-1 on grass today.
How could such a thing happen when they only lost to us because of the 3G pitch?

I see Welling lost 2-1 on grass today. How could such a thing happen when they only lost to us because of the 3G pitch? How could you be so stupid as to not account for the fact that, having ventured on to 3g for the first time ever, ever in their lives last week, the Welling players had, in that 90 minutes, become so accustomed to it that they were at a disadvantage this week. Hopefully, having completed cold turkey this week (clearly the fair thing to have done would have been to play the first half on 3g and the second half on grass) they should now be back to winning 5-0 every week again. |

Our Mutual Friend offers a good selection of real ales and is only a stones throw from the ground. (See what I . I have to say, I was like "WTF is a Maidstone" when I heard the draw, but I'm actually really looking forward to this now. If you bring the crowd that you say you are going to, it should be a great atmosphere. I will be surprised (and equally impressed) if you do manage to out sing us though. We may have a small(ish) following, but we do have good singers on the East Terrace and we will give as good as we get. I take your feeling very surprised and impressed tonight then.... |

Perhaps the great unwashed amongst us who aren't season ticket holders / supporters club members can let some go from the park bridge after we fail to get tickets LOL.
