Leave him alone, he's just worried about losing his job.
The question is, does Oliver go down the legal route if we sit in a promotion position at the end of the season, or do we go back again next hoping to have built up more support? If we go the legal route, we would need to be pretty sure of winning as it would burn any bridges that we building with the Conference, however my gut feeling is that you will never get a genuinely fair hearing from the Conference.

That's one of my pitches by the way do you like it? Personally I prefer to see a pitch with football being played on it, without that what's the point it's a field groundsman. Bet you hated forking it at half time and cringed every time anybody slid on it. Come to think of it I bet you like the look of 3G don't you...you don't want to like it but you can't help loving how pristine it looks!!

Pristine- haha your perception of plastic is so funny, it's incredibly ugly, stinks and bacteria infested as far from beautiful as you can get. Is hated by tv companies due to its reflective nature ( already pulled one out in Russia for that reason alone) hated by the pros, is about to be banned from indoor stadia for H&S reasons due to it flammability and best yet a medical paper ( will send you the link) is about to be released about the toxins in the rubber that is causing issues with children's resparitory systems after extensive exposure in heat. For every plastic club there are 10 who are against. You will not reduce that ratio in your favour in the next 10 years. In the meantime geniuses like myself are making sure grass just gets better and better- the best surface plastic companies have come up with after 30 years is only fit for stacking oranges on- that's some pretty dip shit people. I know what could improve plastic pitches but will never tell the plastic people not even for $1 billion...http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=qVFUgYfLhZI

What a pathetic point about respiratory complaints. We may have 2 days a year where the temp hits a level to cause a concern, meanwhile little Johnny eats dog shit every week when he plays on a park pitch No one is claiming that 3G should be made compulsory or that it will replace grass as the best playing surface for football. But I would say it is better than any surface I've seen in the lower leagues and I would include the Conference, as well as most League 2 and many League 1 clubs. The finances from the Championship upwards mean that clubs can install state of the art grass surfaces meaning the commercial and surface quality aspects are negated. Below Championship level, so many clubs are in a financial difficulty, so many postponements are pushing clubs into further difficulty and with a few exceptions, the quality of surface in the Conference and down are truly awful.

When you post a video as per the link above it posts suggested videos related to that video. Now these suggestions are based on metadata YouTube holds about the videos poster and videos that were also watched by people who watched the original video. It's therefore an interesting coincidence that related videos to the laughing policeman were videos posted by Heathside! Some of these were Stones highlights, but others were more niche such as Kent Fa Academy games filmed at The Gallagher by Heathside. Now Mr Groundsman I'm not suggesting you're Heathside in particular, but your definitely a Stones fan who likes watching Heathside's videos including those not of the Stones!!!

I made the futile gesture of emailing the Conference before and after the vote, via their website. This is the reply I received both times.
'After receiving a comprehensive presentation, and no doubt after doing their own homework too, in a democratic voting process the member clubs voted against the use of the Artificial Turf Pitches as proposed in the rule change.
It is appreciated you may not have seen the proposed rule change, and will not therefore be fully informed, but had you done so, you will discover the suggested quality of ATP is inferior to that being used in International and European games'.
Who did the 'comprehensive presentation' I wonder? It wasn't us or Sutton or Dorchester according to a post elsewhere. Interesting to know if or how our pitch is inferior to others.
Over to more informed people to take these points up.

yeah well go back to sharing with rushden and diamonds on there wonderful pitch What wonderful pitch? They were liquidated and their stadium is abandoned, after Kettering left who were subsequently demoted about 4 leagues. However I believe a plastic pitch would have not only saved them but turned them into Barcelona with crowds of 99,000 and increased revenue so they could afford the 200k each week to pay my best friend ( apparently according to this forum) Lionel messii . Looks like a table cloth out of a café in King Street!!

I am interested to know what the clubs plan is if they get promoted? Will you remove your plastic carpet and replace it with a real football pitch? Will you turn down your promotion? will you play at another venue? You are not interested. Go home and play on the A21 you annoying child.
