Am I on acid? Was that how it finished? What an absolute load of sh*t, I only wish I had been working, quite possibly the worst performance I have seen, and yes that includes the smash and grab victory away at Canvey

Poor all season? Some comments beggar belief., maybe. Just maybe were up against some better sides this season? And in my view were doing a bloody good job too . Let us continue being this poor please if it means us staying TOP OF THE LEAGUE. ;-)

It was an average performance not helped by some very poor ref decisions but sorry we were not shit. Again we showed spirit to come back from 2-0 with some very vocal support from the town end.

I thought the town end were once again very quiet during the game, only really heard them when we pulled a goal back, oh and obviously when they were encouraging the Leiston keeper, would have to agree StoneCold Russ, the referee was poor and so were his linesman, but we cant keep giving them the opportunity to play up to the big crowd.

I stood up the left hand side of the town end in the second half. It was so quiet I would have got myself a good sleep in if I had remembered my pillow. The only noisy points were Waldorf and Statler....sorry...Tim and Trolley, complaining about things.

Agree with Russ apart from the bit about vocal support...really?! when was that?
Massive over-reaction to the game. We deserved the bit of luck at the end but with us being top of the league people seem to expect us to play teams off the park. Not going to happen every week, performances haven't been as wonderful as we'd like but we're top of the league and we're there for a reason

You should stop quaffing it up in the vp lounge and watch the game, Ant. We were utterly woeful in the first half. In the second half Leiston sat back and we huffed and puffed. We managed an equaliser through a deflection, that would have been easily saved otherwise, rather than producing a good move. We were predictible and lacking in pace with the exception of Rory Hill.

I have already said we were poor in the first half - which I put down to misguided complacency against a side which are better than their league position suggests. And yes, Leiston sat back in the second half and we took advantage, and gained a bit of luck (countering their penalty) for the equaliser.
We have to look at the facts as well that we had a new midfield together with both of our usual pairing being absent, and 2 of our first choice wingers not being fit - things like this are bound to affect the performance - which is why some suggested before the game that this wouldn't be a "gimme"

I will not nominate the Leiston keeper for an Oscar.
I will nominate him as chief motivator for MUFC in the last 15 minutes of the game.
Well done Danny Gay!
