I think I was watching a different game. I personally thought Sobers had a nightmare. The subs did make a differance but up to that point what a dire game of football.

Agreed it was dire up until the point of the subs. Orlando is not a forward he is a winger and when he was switched to the wing he was unplayable the last 15mins. Collins needs a proper strike partner and this was made clear when Booth came on, we were much more creative when we had a traditional 4-4-2. I know there are a lot of Danny Lye fans out there but I don't think his good enough, as for brown he needs to be playing in central midfield from the start.

It was a terrible game up to 60 mins or so! Philips,Boothy and browny all made a difference and can keep it! We got hold of the ball better and used to width better aswell as looking a more attacking threat! Flish just wasn't getting the ball and Orlando was poor for most of the game! But a whole lot better after the changes! Games are gonna be like that who would of thought they got beat 4-0 Saturday but thats the Ryman premier games will be like that!

Agree about the changes, before that the ball was pinging around not sticking to people's feet, and we just seem to pick the wrong pass or just hoof it up field, think there will be changes at Hendon with brown and phillips coming in and maybe booth or draycott to partner frannie, he needs it

He got caught in possession too many times and this was against a side that will probably finish nearer the bottom than the top.

I think I was watching a different game. I personally thought Sobers had a nightmare. The subs did make a differance but up to that point what a dire game of football. I would have to agree i thought Sobers had a poor game and he didnt look to clever on saturday either, maybe with Steve Watts back on Saturday it may assist him, the game was dire but what do expect against a team that where humped 4-0 on Saturday when they had supposedly half their team away, we got to bogged down trying to play through the centre of the park which was congested, we did look better when we got the ball out to the wings, I thought all 3 subs added something to the team when we needed it, Boothy took some of the pressure of Frannie and Mickey Phillips and Alex Brown added a bit more forward threat, all in all i am happy with 3 points, its always better to win playing badly than to lose playing well...COYS

Carshalton seemed to have so much more energy & desire than us and will feel aggrieved to have lost. It was only when Alex Brown came on that we matched them in those departments and for the short period he was on the pitch he showed what is needed in this division. Also I felt that if we had someone like the Carshalton No. 9 playing alongside Frannie our attacking options would be so much better. For me Orlando is a wide player rather than a central striker Would agee 100% Pete, the problem with our midfield (and I've been saying it all summer) is our midfield Brown apart, is not creative enough, most are good players but when it comes to opening up a defence they are too static I hoped that Fabio would be that player but so far whilst a decent player he's too similar As for Danny Lye, improved yes, good enough no!

Up to joint 4th - us and East Thurrock on same points and goals for and against. Well done Stones. I think Thurrock have the slightly easier run in though

A quick congratulations to most away fans who went and behaved impeccably, the terrace along the side confused many but they all quickly grasped the rules about where they were and weren't allowed to stand. The Wealdstone lesson has clearly been learned

Quite glad none of our bench warmers suffer from epilepsy after Barry's antics with the electronic sub thing-a-me-jig last night.

Would like to see Jay bring in another striker to play alongside Frannie or at least play Boothy up with him, Frannie looked isolated up top on his own again last night , 4 points out of 6 think we will take that

Genuinely interested in what folks think Sobers did wrong.. Thought he was strong, commanding in the air, and read their play better than anyone else in our team. Their goal came from him needing to be dragged out to the RB slot when Davies got caught out..
