Supply and demand - if people stopped using them they'd have no choice but to look elsewhere for their nice meal
Can't agree with Stewart's point though, the price of burgers has no connection to the price of the beer - both set by different people. The £4 Bishops Finger was an inputting error and it was soon rectified to £3.50. Can't really complain about the Spitfire Lounge prices - aside from Asahi @ £4 a pint that is!

I bought a burger at the Gallagher on Saturday. At those prices I shall be taking sandwiches if I am commentating again

The burger at Carshalton was cracking, £4.50 for a double with everything on it, they are definitely milking the gate receipts with that van at the Gallagher. As to dropping Flish, give him a couple more games, he's probably just not got into his stride yet

With regards to Sobers I thought he may have had his boots on his shins. Miss kicking loads. A couple of howling decisions that almost led to goals and in my opinion very slow to get back at times leaving the others very exposed. Along with some misplaced passes gave me the impression he had a mare.

Just watched the highlights from the Wealdstone game and he didn't look to clever there either, still a good player in my opinion who should come good again, maybe he is missing Watts

Burger van is a pisstake! Awful food even for non league fodder! The less said about the cost the better, a joke.

Not had anything at the Gallagher burger vans that comes close to the ones the guys did at the Directors -v- Supporters bash.

Heres an idea how about talk to Terry, Bill or even Nadine about the burger/food prices at the next home game. I am sure they will take comments on board about them if enough mention about it.

Let's face it, most grounds you go to from the top level down, you pay inflated prices, sometimes ridiculous, look at wembley, so it cones at no shock things go up every season and not value for money, if people don't buy them then they will want to know the reason why, or as binary say have a polite chat at some ppint

I must say I think the food is devine. Mrs Casey makes a marvellous pizza and the salmon is to die for!

Hmmm, I'm sure they are delicious JT, however factor in the price of your VP ticket and the fact you no longer drink, your vol-au-vent looks a bit pricey and burger van suddenly looks like a soup kitchen! Unless someone can tell me otherwise I didn't think the burger van had anything to do with the club except paying for a 'pitch' so they can set their own prices I'm not really complaining, after a few 'refreshments' before KO I buy a bacon roll to help soak up the beer, £3.50 is steep, but I'm lucky I can aford it but many wont and they will stop using it, then he will have a decision to make!

Spot on comment, Tim. If you can afford it then you go for it. If you can't you will find an alternative. In this case the market will set the price.

What's it got to do with them? It's a private catering firm who set their own prices. All the while they make good money out of matchdays they have no reason to rethink their prices - but I can't see how any of our staff can influence it
