Sarcasm is "a sharp, bitter, or cutting expression or remark; a bitter gibe or taunt",[1] usually conveyed through irony or understatement.[2] Most authorities distinguish sarcasm from irony;[3] however, others argue that sarcasm may or often does involve irony[4] or employs ambivalence.[5] en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sarcasm

As for saying you can't steamroller this league, I recall Dover, Dartford and AFC Wimbledon making short work of this league in recent seasons.... Dover didn't steamroller the league in our first season. We went up as champions and Hastings through the play-offs. Dartford also wasted a good chance that year, having only just moved into Princes Park. Both Dartford and Dover had spells at the top of the table, only to succumb to the pressure of being top, as indeed we almost did, letting slip a huge lead so that it came down to having to win the final game. AFC Wimbledon not only had massive crowds (even more than we're getting now) but also a massive budget and had pretty much swept all before them until they reached the Ryman Premier when it took them a couple of seasons to progress.

Dartford never looked like winning the Ryman South and only got into the Premier via the not as good North division.
