laughable to pick on saunders but typical football supporter mentalty to immediately blame the manager when the players aren't performing.

Whilst the last few games have been poor we have managed to grind out results, we are currently 4 points ahead of Dulwich who have 3 games in hand, but remember we were in the same situation a few weeks back when we had games in hand but struggled to play twice a week and ended up not picking up the points we thought we would, Dulwich still have to play us and Leatherhead and then have a busy period of games pretty much playing Tuesday and Saturday for the next few weeks quite possibly until the end of the season, lets see how they get on, sorry for going off on a tangent but i think we should take stock at the end of the season and not before, i believe Jay will come good and get us up this season, We need to get behind the manager and players like we did on Saturday at every game whether that be at home or away and make the atmosphere uncomfortable for the opposition. We have let in 1 more goal than Dulwich and Leatherhead, but have played more games than them. The perception is our defence is shaky but reality is we have the best defensive record in the division.

Didn't say they were electrifying, just said that it was our best spell in the second half. If made sooner maybe could have held on for 3 points. Briging on Lye allowed the two wide players to play further up the field and had the final ball from Woolery been better? Obviously the side have dropped important points and had they have had to deal with injuries but to call for Jays head(stoneyutd), ridiculous. I think we are 4 points clear on top of the pile.

I have been to most home matches and some away and have yet to see a dominating performance most games could have gone either way . Did you recently go to Burgess Hill Away, Corinthian Casuals Away? Two of the most one sided, dominated games you could have seen this season. Not the greatest teams, I know, but you have to beat what is put in front of you, and on these two occassions Stones were exceptional in every position on and off the pitch.

so are we supposed to stick our heads in the sand and pretend everything is ok... yes the players are to blame but who brings the players in and who prepares them ... i said i hadnt been to every match and we clearly have picked up many points BUT... when you look at teams that have worked their way through the leagues in recent seasons Dartford Dover they won this league at a canter .. Always thought the 5 year plan statement is setting yourself up for a fall ..But if this is to be acheived in my opinion based on all performances i have seen changes need to be made at some point..maybe someone with experience to work along side Jay...

It would be great to be winning this league at a canter but the fact is we are up against a very very good Dulwich Hamlet side who are simply not dropping points.
This a DH side that have lost in the play off final for the last 2 seasons and so were always going to be up there challenging us.
Sure we have dropped points against teams we should have beaten but we don't have a given right to walk away with this league.
Other teams around us have dropped points as well, Leatherhead beat us and then draw at home to Three Bridges, Hythe have fallen dramatically, Folkestone were once leading.
Regardless of opinion we are actually top of the league and have points in the bag, this is the business end of the season and so it's time to get behind the team more than ever.
When we won this league last time round, if memory serves me, we were actually in about 5th at this point of the season when we went to the league leaders Dover and beat them.

I'd hate to see how some of our fans would react if we were not top of the league and had the best goal difference etc. Not sure how they would have coped during our five years in the Ryman Prem when we were near the bottom every year.

Most of us would have settled for our current plight at the start of the season.

My issue isn't with the results but the performance and the manner of which we are dropping points... on a run of form that we are on, got to really turn things around or wont get anything at DH... out played against a team relegated from ryman prem ..get the performance right and the results will follow

I've seen / heard plenty of people who where there in those days having a good old whinge this season (myself included).

To be honest all this talk is irrelevant, we are top of the league and we are playing badly We have got some good players and we have got some duffers! Is Jay feeling the pressure? I would bloody well hope so! Can we still go up this season? Absolutely! I would think the equation is simply, he takes us up he keeps his job Until then all we can do is support Jay and the team
