very frustrating performance especially as it seemed like we had turned a corner midweek. can't think of a single player who played particularly well with the possible exeption of phillips. the substitution of lye for draycott summed things up (although draycott had a poor game, bringing lye on was absolutely ridiculous). as much as I like the bloke, ward is struggling to keep up with the pace of the games and we desperately need humphrey back.
boothy has to be given a chance next week as olorunda was anonymous.
cracking atmosphere though, i reckon 300+ maidstone supporters, and the barracking of the ted hankey look a like was most amusing.

I reckon we had at least 400 there, maybe getting close to 500. The crowd of 680 was 400 higher than thier previous highest and when they sung they weren't that loud. We easily had over half of the crowd there.
Yeah I mentioned him in an earlier post. Whilst he might have started it off as banter, I think the steward should've moved him on, as he started to antagonise a few people. Someone threw a polystrene cup at him haha.

Was he haha ? Thought he was supposed to be having a ruck with one of our fans in the car park haha. That's what he was suggesting to one of the guys who went down and had a word with him.

Can't agree with some of the comments about Jay's substitutions, Deren and Shauns were forced which left him with one. When he put danny Lye on I thought it was our best spell in the second half. If anything maybe could have done it a bit sooner to keep the 2-1 lead.

the elephant in the room is ...is jay the man to take this club forward..i would suggest no.. has made some fundimentle mistakes in his signings has left us short in more then one area . Perhaps this is due to the lack of experience which could be overlooked if we have played well this season . But i fear he is being given credit for a couple of freak results. I have been to most home matches and some away and have yet to see a dominating performance most games could have gone either way . I have seen seen 3 maidstone league winning sides and this team doesn't look like the 4th . It doesn't dominate sides the way the others have. I am over the moon to be back at our own ground after following stones to some really poor places but this is not the team to take this club to the next level and i think management too .
