I had a feeling it was one of our more regular posters spouting this stuff previously about deeply personal medical confidences.
We are not talking about a sensitive and highly confidential issue here
Its about ligaments, muscles , tendons and the rest which may be undergoing treatment with some time off required.
Has you ever thought that players may be perfectly happy for this information to be shared but the club is putting a block on it ?

Has any of you ever thought players might want their medical details to remain confidential. Christ there’s some entitled garbage spouted on this forum sometimes. I don't think anyone is asking to see test results Harry is injured; 2-3 weeks, that sort of thing

Definitely a red at the end. On TV you could see it brandished. No idea why Corne got a yellow though. Having been picked up and thrown into the barrier, he spent the next five minutes lying on the ground. My overall impression was that Eastbourne rarely threatened in attack, though when they did, Andre made a couple of vital saves. Another keeper would have come out and caught the floated cross that led to their goal though. Despite the fracas at the end, they all seemed to kiss and make up after the final whistle and it didn't seem a dirty game. Indeed, the ref did ok, allowing the game to flow without whistling too much, which made a change. Just watched the highlights and not sure at what point Andre could have come out and caught the ball for their goal?? Being a bit harsh on him there I think.

Clark Kent would have come out and caught that.

Only just noticed I've ceased to be a God and am now a 'coach' (God help us all!). I didn't think it would be long before old Yorkie got round to fiddling with the forum. The POWER of the Admin is a dangerous drug... What's on earth is going on ? CAN ADMIN EXPLAIN ? Trialist ? Wtf ys! 🤣

I jumped the gun a bit - just found this on Bluesky (it was also in last night's programme):
Club physiotherapist Paul Smith has an update from the treatment room…
Raphe Brown has been unlucky with his injury after coming in for Reiss while he was on international duty. Unfortunately, as he cleared a ball against Slough, he kicked the bottom of an attackers’ studs and damaged the tendons on top of his foot, along with bone bruising which has been painful. He has worked hard in the gym and has returned to full squad training this week.
Jordan Higgs got injured away at St Albans on the first game of the season, damaging all five ligaments in his ankle. He recovered well and came back, but unfortunately suffered another injury to one of the ankle ligaments after a late tackle. He tried to come back again but got caught in training on the same ligament. Jordan is old school, he wants to play (strap me up and I’ll get on with it attitude), because of his experience, you give him a bit of leeway, but after the latest problem, he was sent for an MRI. The ligament was found to be good but there was a bone problem, subsequently he had an injection to the area which should sort the problem.
He has worked hard and we have had to hold him back a bit and gradually increase his load, so he doesn’t overdo things. He has been squad training for more than a week and should be available for selection very soon.
Harry Kyprianou has had a problem which started pre-season with plantar fasciitis (you might have to Google it), which, as some will know, is a painful condition. He had been treated conservatively and also seeing local osteopath, Luke Jenner, for laser, shock wave and manual treatment, also getting treatment at the club and working in the gym.
He had an ultrasound scan and MRI, both didn’t show any abnormality. Due to the slow progress, Harry was sent to an experienced specialist in London, who after a further ultrasound scan, found a large tear to the plantar fascia close to the heel bone. He was injected with a dextrose solution and put in a boot for six weeks, also having to sleep in it. He came out of the boot last Monday and has started rehab, which could take another four to six weeks.
Tayt Trusty got caught against Hornchurch and broke a bone at the base of the thumb. After an X-ray, the hospital put a plaster on his arm and he can’t play with it. He is working hard to maintain fitness and will be another three weeks before it is taken off.
The players do get knocks and niggles, which happen at all clubs. We have had a testing time in November with so many games and it is testament to the fitness levels and mentality of the players, plus the regime they are put through by the management, that it hasn’t been worse.
I hope this has been helpful and answered some of the questions I know people have been asking. Also, just because players aren’t on the bench, doesn’t mean they are injured, after all the gaffer can only pick 16 from a squad of 25+.
My bad - as de yoof say...
