Two cracking goals from open play. Soft goals conceded, especially the first.

Mediocre doesn’t bother me as much as maybe it should.

One positive from the barrier going is away teams no longer swap ends. Unless we’ve become really good at winning the toss.

Another nice touch was the drummer joining the away fans. Did the barrier wankers stop coming, or did they suddenly learn how to behave?

Glad we livened up second half and two cracking goals. WTF were we doing at the other end. Keystone cops defending at times, epitomises by the two Chesham goals. On the first on just communicate FFS. On the second one. Just organise and mark and don't allow an easy cross into the boxing the last minute FFS.

We looked better with Benton on because he is lively and has some invention. The tall forward (Ludvico?) needs to go. He didn't head a thing. In fact he didn't do a thing.

Hard to believe that Lodovico or whoever is the best we could get.
Useless !
Nowhere near the standard required.
Who on earth recommended and sanctioned his signing ?
Stones finding different ways to drop points.
Defending was poor today.
Looking a bit more like scoring the odd goal, yes there are some goodish players in the team, but you can't carry 3 or 4 dross individuals every match.
Balance still not right. George needs to clear out the deadwood and soon.
3 or 4 quality signings are needed if we are to move up a gear and press on to the play-offs.

Need to give Lenny Holden a chance in goal. Alexis André Junior is not the keeper we need. Cost us a goal today, two, maybe three, against Chelmsford, and time after time his judgement coming for crosses is poor. I wasn’t convinced during pre season and I’ve seen nothing since to change my mind.

As for the game, not much to get excited about apart from two great goals from Blair and Coulthirst. The usual issues with the ref, why do they always favour the visitors? And where the hell did he find the extra minute from when there were no stoppages in the 5 added minutes. Having said that we should have been more switched on for the free kick.

Much as I hate the cheating, time wasting and fake injuries Chesham indulged in, maybe it’s a side of the game we need to be better at. It’s no good being a good sporting side if your opponents are gonna cheat and get away with it.

If George recruited so much deadwood that needs to be axed so soon what faith can you have in the quality of any new signings he makes to replace them.

Georges best players are those signed by Hak. Corne, Fowler, Greenidge

One of them as a result of his misjudgment coming for a cross. Being a good shot stopper isn’t enough. He didn’t need to get involved for their first goal, Fowler was in control of the situation. To many mistakes and yet Holden, who looked a better option in pre season doesn’t get a look in.

Some you win and some you lose.
50% successful recruits is probably average and if you hit the heights of 2 out 3 you are doing really well.
George needs to recruit some more quality players between now and xmas.
Simple enough in theory, harder in practice.
Pretty silly really to call for his head in September.

Recruitment isn’t just down to George now though. We have a recruitment committee so maybe poor recruitment isn’t entirely George’s fault

Recruitment isn’t just down to George now though. We have a recruitment committee so maybe poor recruitment isn’t entirely George’s fault
