With the club giving him a 2 year deal, something that has never worked out well for us, unless they've put a performance clause in his contract he's going nowhere. No way the owners are paying off his contract. At this level, do you have to pay up a 2 year contract?

It's been fairly obvious since St Albans, but it's now BLINDINGLY obvious. This team is not good enough. And if this is the best George can do, he too is not good enough.
The last time someone put five past us it was a Championship side.

But at least I've improved my prediction skills - I predicted at least three of those goals.
That's how f**king shite we were.

Deservedly beaten - so open at the back. We have no pace, no target man, no height and physical statue - we will do a Dartford unless things change. He clearly doesn't understand non league football.

Fans were still singing at the end. I was impressed - until I realised it was 'Stones are going down'.

Unless we've put a performance clause into his contract, we will have to pay off all his contract if we want to sack him. Long term deals have never worked out well for us......Jake Embury, Olutade and Wanjau Smith were all on 18 to 24 month deals, and we were stuck with them. So I hope for our sake this 2 year deal works out, or we are in big trouble.

We are just not very good at football!
On paper this team are good, in reality we are poor.
We are just not going to get Big investment now, I didn’t come after that cup run and that was our chance.
Who did we lose from last years squad that we had no chance or resigning… ? Reynolds who had two good games and Sole.
We should never have let Bone and Wanjo-Smith go.
I’m not going to blame the owners, they would have been crazy to not stick with George.
I just think this management team are unconsciously incompetent.
I’m not suggesting I could do a better job, but in the same breath I’m not paid to do a better job.
Football is a tough.
Where has that extra cash gone, can’t be on players surly

Well the last half an hour was embarrassing. And if you’re chasing the game why take off your two best players. Khrasniki and Benton were running the midfield. After they went off, Khrasniki in particular, we lost all the spark in the middle and resorted back to the usual aimless hoof ball. Defensively we played too high a line and even before they scored we were almost caught out a couple of times. Time to give Holden a run in goal. Junior doesn’t command the penalty box, and while he’s a decent shot stopper, he often parries it straight out back into danger. Two of their goals came from his saves, another one came when they broke and he was miles out of goal, and instead of going towards the ball when he must have been favourite to get there first, he backed off and gave the forward all the time in the world to pick his spot.
Having said all that we could have been 2-0 up before they scored if Blair had taken on the shot rather than laying it off and giving the keeper time to set himself. If that had gone in it might have been a different story.
Finally a word about the Genco. You may think it’s funny singing “how shit must you be we’re winning at home” but not only is it bloody disrespectful to the players, it also looks a bit stupid when we get stuffed 5-1. Some of you need to seriously grow up.

Bought a shirt, food and a few beers. £80 to watch us get spanked by a below average team!!
You have to laugh… it’s just a game

In every game this season our forwards have been bullied by big defenders. The first thing we need is a big target man who can also score goals. Too many of our players are too small. A big defensive midfielder is a must. Greenidge was badly missed today. We can all see where we are lacking and George needs to take action quickly as we are now just above the relegation zone. Perming the players we have got will not solve the problem.

Blair is good. Still don’t think we replaced Faal. I also disagree on the investment comment. I know what you are saying but you don’t just lay cash out and buy a business if this size. I still tho k we are in that window of opportunity. Results on the pitch do little to change anything.

The last 10 minutes were shambolic tho

We were happy enough with the glory last season, so George and the players get my backing, and yes, applause.
I’ll never join in booing with our newer moronic fans in the Genco over a few bad results. They don’t represent me.

Someone noted that the FA cup success money was conspicuous in its absence tonight. Or was that just for last season?
