The first of three home games in a week (remember when we barely had three in two months?), all of which could be called six pointers, albeit a bit early for that. Bath gave us our first proper beating 3-0, earlier in the season, so given they are also in the playoffs, methinks we need to return the favour. Given we have Chelmsford and St Albans visiting too, a good points haul will be important, you'd think. At least the pitch will be level.

Highlights from a 2-1 win over Bath City almost exactly two years ago. Goals from Barham and Luque. youtu.be/w4xteHdvRx0?si=pxX7UERV2-ZU0EGPNote the absent barrier, people spreading out where they want and no barrier wankers when a goal is scored. There’s no reason we couldn’t have this again for clubs like Bath who won’t bring many away.

With Bath City not bringing a supporters coach I would be surprised if it is segregated allowing a better viewing experience for more people from the genco end.I know we struggle to get 2000 for a midweek game but surely we should for the next 3 crucial home games as we attempt to cement a place in the play-off places.

I scolded a few of the bitter rivals who mocked our Dover attendance, in light of the Coventry and Ipswich gate figures. But this is the type of game we must hope can attract more fans following such a cup run, and favourable league position. Not to mention that half these Tuesday night games would have been weekend games. It's warming up now weather wise and the football is entertaining, come on down and support The Stones!

We're they expecting 4,800 to rock up at Crabble?

We need to win all three to get back where we were/should be. If 35/36/37 games into a season of 46, when you've just crashed out of the play-offs, is "too early", when the hell is the right time?! These are gifts from the fixture gods and we need to take advantage of them.

Perhaps if we are losing with 15 minutes to go one or two of our fans can feign illness and earn us a rematch.

With Bath City not bringing a supporters coach I would be surprised if it is segregated allowing a better viewing experience for more people from the genco end. It’s only a better experience if the barrier is totally dismantled. Otherwise it ends up like Braintree; the footpath open at the bottom, but most fans still segregating and the barrier wankers up to their unpleasant tricks. Bath City yet another away support spreading the word how unpleasant Maidstone is to visit. It’s completely ridiculous and counterproductive.

Happier times

Those that don't can stand further away and look towards the pitch where the match is. No need to ban anyone.

Not segregated, so I get an easier halftime pee. Crowd looking very thin at the moment - 5 minutes from KO...
But at least it's not raining!

Mixed emotions after that. On one hand we conceded two poor goals and Bath looked a decent side at times. On the other, we created about 7 clear chances to kill off the game!
Did anyone have a decent view of the penalty shout? From the stand it looked stonewall. Main stand linesman was picking his nose for much of the 90.
The biggest result today is George staying, of course.
