The dull unoriginality and tedious repetition is more vexing. As mentioned on the Bath forum. Whilst the swearing is needless, I would prefer to be called tedious and repetitious than utterly silent... (apart from their goal celebrations). If we are saying we would prefer rubbish singing to no singing, probably. The only time I’ve heard silence is when the choir get bored or we are losing. People managed to sing long before the choirboys and they sang a range of songs. My point is it sounds so scripted and choreographed. Like a kid with a recorder who knows one song, or going to a pub and someone puts the same song on the duke box all night.

Halcyon Days… Still, at least we are beyond the stage of singing anti Gillingham chants in each and every game. These days, it’s them who can’t stop talking about us.

On the subject of Bath, does anyone know whats happening with their game vs Slough ? Yes! There was a meeting at the FA with both managers and the ref in attendance and three quarters of the way through the meeting the secretary complained of a headache and an ambulance was called. The referee left the meeting and refused to return. The Slough manager blamed Bath, the Bath manager blamed the secretary, the secretary blamed the FA who themselves blamed Everton and deducted them a further 6 pts.
