Mixed emotions after that. On one hand we conceded two poor goals and Bath looked a decent side at times. On the other, we created about 7 clear chances to kill off the game! Did anyone have a decent view of the penalty shout? From the stand it looked stonewall. Main stand linesman was picking his nose for much of the 90. The biggest result today is George staying, of course. Stonewall

Not segregated, so I get an easier halftime pee. Crowd looking very thin at the moment - 5 minutes from KO... But at least it's not raining! The covering was removed, but the scaffolding remained in place with access behind the stand. Weird. Glad to see 400 of our new fans turn up, but they need to learn some basic crowded terrace etiquette. As for the game? We both looked like the upper NLS sides we are. Could have nicked it at the end.

As apples said, mixed emotions. The last 10 minutes probably making me forget the previous 80 when Bath were good value for a point at least.
I thought we were very poor for 40 minutes. The method of play is very basic. No one looks comfortable passing into feet and everyone is playing with their backs to goal.
They scored a preventable goal but credit their winger for a pin point cross. In fact both of their wingers put in 2 great balls each and had an assist each. Their 7 was clear MOTM. A great outlet and end product. Impressed with him.
We played much better second half but still pretty direct. When Lamar came on we looked a bit more of a threat and our wingers started to play like wingers.
We worked out that they were very dodgy from balls into the box a bit late in the game. They’re quite poor at the back I thought.
Faal was great from his goal onwards. Best I’ve seen him in general play. Tanga was our best player. Seemed the most likely source of chances.
All in all, a fair point. They’d have been unlucky to not take a point, but we should have probably nicked it. I felt it was inevitable. Shades of St Albans. But not to be.
Clear pen at the end. Free kick anywhere else. They might have had one after that. Couldn’t tell from the Genco in theirs.

Decent point all in all.
First half we were really poor, second was much improved and could have kicked it at the end.
Tanga had a great game and their left back did well to keep him quiet for the most part - against a less opponent he could have had a field day.
Looked much better when we went 3 at the back towards the end with George Fowler pushing that right back position when we had the ball. But we still miss that player to sit in front the defence. Thought Bivesh was really poor tonight, he’s far to slow and doesn’t read the game well enough to make up for that.
Bath are a good side and I all things considered it’s a good point that keeps us in touch with the play offs. Saturday and the return of Harry Wheeler becomes even more of a must win now.

Agree with most if not all of the match comments - especially that apart from Levi - sorry Mo - scoring two good goals, in general our forward play was rubbish until the last ten as we had no wingers and left Lamarr and Liam on the bench. Want to see the highlights as from the Genco it looked like a sure fire penalty to us near the end , the Chi booking was for nothing and the main stand lino seemed to think offside was whenever Rushy slipped his marker! We needed to win and should have done really. Bath players seemed much happier with the point. Need to win the next two games to stay in contention for play offs for sure.

Well, you have to be honest and say we didn't deserve 3 points from that. OK we finished with a typical Stones frenzy, but the extra two points were lost by then.
Bath are a good side and for most of the match bossed the game, they could easily have had more than 2. Until the last 20 minutes or so, we hardly threatened their goal.
And their second was a huge cock-up on our behalf - the guy who scored hardly had to move, he just nodded the ball into an open net, completely unmarked. Cracking cross though. Then we went from the ridiculous to the sublime - one of the worst goals I've seen us concede, to one of the best I've seen us score - and a real team effort.
The ref was OK, but the MS side linesman was a complete donkey - no way up to NS standard. The one thing the ref did get very wrong though was our penalty appeal - their player clearly pushed ours off the pitch, in fact he practically headbutted him off! How the ref didn't see that I don't know.
But we end the night back in the playoffs, which is all that really matters - and hopefully we'll be better organised Saturday and St Albans will be less of a threat. Rather worried about next Tuesday though - the Stones who played tonight aren't going to be a match for the form Chelmsford are in...

Great support and atmosphere generated from the boys in the Genco ! Draw result fair enough in the end, but we came so close to nicking all 3 points. Grew stronger as the match went on and played better when the subs were let lose. At full strength the team is def a match for anybody. Looking good for the play-offs.

I wasn't keen on that new chant though - if you've followed us in the Cup and then taken the kids to see a league game, you don't really want to hear that being chanted nonstop.

Nah mate. We done the f**king lot. Innit.
Teenage boys love finding football and public profanity.
The dull unoriginality and tedious repetition is more vexing.
As mentioned on the Bath forum.

At least its not like the hooligans of the 70's & 80's. Those born in th 50's and 60's that contributed to that are far worse than the kids of today.
