You've got a great set up and the hospitality was brilliant.

Surely you're not a true fan unless you saw the Chatham game in 1897!

If we hadn't lost points last week this would feel like a fair result based on where lieston are in the league. The manner we conceded the goals will make it feel more like a loss. I thought there where allot of positives to take from the first half Steve going off just changed the game back in their favour. Some might argue that shouldn't happen but he is a key figure in the team so it's bound to have an effect.

There's less dogs muck at the Gallagher though.

Yeah what a brilliant bit of advertising that's been for them. I have not heard a single person refer to it as the Loucas End even though is written above it.

In my mind the clue is in the name. We are their to "support" our team. If things are going badly then we need to help try and gear them up. If things are going well then we can lift them even further.
As for the town end, I know it gets stick for the beer throwing incident and a few others, but the cheering makes the ground. I don't think there has been any stick on here for anything that wasn't warranted so don't agree that you can't win. The goal keeper on saturday seemed to take the banter well. The young lad that got verbally assaulted in the cup shouldn't have had to take it. It comes down to the basic principles of life...."Don't take the mick".

First time poster here so go easy on me, but....
The crowd at this club are basically sitting back and waiting for the team to perform for them. When they do they are rewarded with the odd muttering of well done and cheers of joy. As soon as things are not going well though the team are lambasted or met with total silence which is even worse. The main stand has two people making any kind of noise. If things go wrong though they all start mumbling. The town end have all been banned following the bottle incidents from the looks of things, as they didn't turn up for the second week in a row.
We cannot expect our team to do well if we are not behind them. The fact that the first thing people seemed to have done after the game is go on here and say how crap everything was is very telling of the expectations and attitude of those in attendance. We have got to start making the same noise as we did for Stevenage at each game to make fortress Gallagher an intimidating place for away teams to come to.
This is basically saying the same as another poster already, but it is an important point that needs rectifying if we are to get the promotion this club deserves.
Rant over for today. No doubt there will be another after the next game.
