"Update from Oliver Ash
It says something about our supporters' hunger for success since we came back to Maidstone that an - admittedly poor - draw can lead to an outpouring of frustration. God help us if we ever lost a couple of games on the trot!
At times like this we remind ourselves we just won three tough away games in a row and are still very well placed for promotion this season.
We have to hold our nerve and play as well as we can and we'll get over the line, even if there are a few heart flutters on the way.
Meanwhile, off the field, we are busy planning for next season raising funds for the 358 seat extension project. We also plan to add terracing either end of the Loucas End.
I am delighted that we have raised some £80,000 through the sale of three-year Gullands Lounge packages, although funding remains painfully tight for the £500,000 project. We are also privileged to have business partners like Britelite and Gullands making extra funds available to us.
It was good to read recently that our friends at the Conference confirmed to their clubs at a meeting that they would not prevent 3G being used next season. As a result Maidenhead Utd are going ahead with their project and we know Sutton and Eastbourne are intending to follow them. It's up to us on the pitch to make sure we are (among the) first to play in the Conference on 3G.
We are now going to turn our attention to campaigning for a better deal for semi-pro clubs when their youth or academy players are signed up by pro clubs. Right now it's a crazy situation where no compensation is payable. It's not fair and needs changing."
All good stuff. By "Loucas End", does he mean the Town End?
