Not just under 6ft is it though, its 5ft 9. Wrong he’s 1.88m or 5’11” in English come on man, be serious. 1.88m for a start is 6ft 2 not 5ft 11. secondly he's not 5ft 11, for example, George Elokobi is 6ft 0. And here is a photo that shows how George is a good few inches taller. Earle is around 5ft 9. Or are you going to tell me next that in the photo Earle is sitting down lol Attachments:

FYI the second 8 was a typo.

Bit of a mess so far. We can't win the ball and we can't hold on to it. Our recent passing style seems to have disappeared, it's mostly kick and hope.
Farnborough aren't anything special, but we're so disorganised we're in danger of making them look good. They've had most of what little goal 'action' there's been - Covolan's had one save, I'm not sure their keeper's had to stop anything.
For some reason Sol is on the bench and we are missing him badly. Not entirely sure who else is playing, as I've broken my glasses (!!!) and I can't find a team list anywhere (what exactly is the point of the OS??).
A real George halftime talk is needed, and maybe a sub or two. Farnborough are there to be taken, but, with the way we're playing, one lucky goal and we'll drop three points.

Well that was a disappointing match.
Scrappy, disjointed. not much joined up passing and plenty of the long stuff.
No idea if it was a penalty (viewed from the Genco) but it looked incredibly soft from a distance.
Farnborough just about deserved to be one up, but after they scored the match began to change.
Stones increasingly piled on the pressure and apart from equalising came very close again and again.
Overall the game had plenty of huff and puff but the boys didn't show much quality till the last 20 minutes.

He put pressure on them at least, when he came on. Not great today but we persevered and got a point.

I’m yet to see a really good side. Lots of average ones. Including us.
Anyone who can get their act together for a sustained spell will win it.
Can see how Fleet ran away with it last season.

A lot of lessons for George today as we struggled against a long-ball team...
Kyprianou is wasted in defence & should be in midfield.
Gbode is a sub at best.
Aransibia was more effective playing on the right & cutting in on his left foot.
Petrasso, Bone & Sole all had poor games.
Good job most of the other results went in our favour.

Very disappointing - definitely 2 points wasted.
But, more worrying, we didn't look the same team at all with just one key player missing and with Farnborough doing their best to take Amantchi out of the game.
We're not going to have Sol and Amantchi availabile all season, so we're going to have to be able to win without them. Today felt like a 'lucky if we get in the play-offs' side, not championship contenders.
I think George has to take some of the blame for this - unless there was a reason for putting Sol on the bench. Also, the way things were, subs needed to be made at half-time. The first 15 minutes of the second half were wasted - the team improved noticeable once the subs came on. Amantchi may score goals, but it's Sol who creates the goalscoring chances.
And what is the point of bringing on a badly needed player at 80 minutes? OK, possibly we scored because he came on, but if he'd come on 15 minutes earlier (or even at half-time), how many more could we have got?
Couldn't see the pen clearly without my glasses, but it did look like Covolan tripped their player. But, whether it was or not, it has to be asked just what Covolan thought he was doing.
Overall, pretty shit, with a poor starting 11 and late subs only just saving a point. Let's hope this is a one-off, and a wake-up call.

I wasnt there but 5th after 12 games just 4pts off the top, would have been 2 but for a 97th minute Yeovil winner. I'll take that a quarter of the way through the season.😁

Starting with an 18 year old loanee from Gills in front of an in form Wanjau Smith didn't make sense, esp when the ref gave a free kick every time someone fell over. Sol has much more football intelligence and asked a lot more questions of their defence when he came on.

A crazy decision that nearly threw the game away. We didn't "persevere", we wasted a good opportunity.

Also, why less than 2,000 attendance on our first home Saturday in ages and on the back of an excellent run of form??
