Looking at the NLS form tables, over the last six matches we are top. Home form is less good - 14th w2, d2, L2 - but that hardly counts as recent. We are top on away form, of course. Farnborough are mid table on form for the last six games, but bottom on away form - w0, d3, L3. Sod's Law therefore dictates an away win, as others have suggested, which would be a real pisser. Am sure Team George are well aware of the need to get a home win in order to build interest for all the other home games we will eventually start playing. A repeat of the Worthing game would be nice... As for the likely team, will Greenidge be back from international duty? Hopefully Corne and Bone will continue in midfield and Levi will keep on scoring too. We now have the second best defence in our league. Chelmsford have conceded one less. Another who'd have thunk it after last season.

It wasnt so much our defence last season, it was the useless mug in goal that was the bigger issue. Now we have a decent keeper, the same defenders who were there last season are now playing better agian.

Just looked up Mersin to see how he was getting on. Seems like he signed for H&W Welders at the end of July, played a handful of games. Then by the end of August they signed a new keeper and benched Mersin. The first 2 he conceded here remind me as to why letting him leave was a great move from the club. youtu.be/GF6nxtIkGS8?si=FeHI3Ype3q2VCUNz

Looking at the odds Bet365 are offering evens for a Stones win which is very generous on current form. Farnborough are 11/5 and the draw is a bog standard 5/2. Both teams to score and a Maidstone win is also a good bet at 4/1.

One of Hak's most inexplicable decisions. Mind you there were a few of them. Wonder how Hamlet are getting on these days under his expert, work them hard, blame everybody else, management style ? They are too big a club for the Ishmian League.

Mersin got picked because he was over 6ft tall, therefore he must've been brilliant .

Earle did OK Tuesday, so I can only assume he's grown a few inches?

Another who'd have thunk it after last season. Clearly no one reads your posts - we have only played four home games! We are 13th with 7 points: WDLW On 4 game form (which I much prefer, as 6 games can easily cover two months or more) we are 6th on home form. Interestingly, Farnborough are top! But their away form is catastrophic - 2nd from bottom, with 2 points: LLDD

Grovie has to be right. We had a useless keeper who got defended by the usual suspects on this forum. Having to play in front of him shredded players confidence.
