Fifth in the table after starting with three wins and a draw. However, all three wins have come at home and their draw was a local derby at Weymouth. The defeat, 4-1, was at Aveley, so we must hope that means they don't travel well - especially coming a long way east. They also have only beaten sides in the bottom half of the table - St Alban's, Braintree and Welling. Time for us to bang in a few goals perhaps?

Not conceding a goal would be good. Hoping George can bring his playing experience to his squad.

Not only do we have brand new toilets, but a nice cosy cabin for the police and stewards.

Not sure why it will become worrying if we ain't in danger of relegation. It's quite funny watching this polarised debate. We ain't ripping up trees after a few games so the naysayers think life is over. The ultra positivity people are also flummoxed. I've found the way we've played so far to be OK. I'm hoping our forward play speeds up a little but overall, I'm happy with OK.

I'll be cheering the Stones on from Cheriton Road watching Folkestone v Margate in a seaside Derby. I thought about getting the train to Maidstone but they are too unreliable at the moment.COYS!

Well done Levi, though it's all too much for the players, so they've stopped for a drink. It's woken up the Elvis end though. Not a great first half. Taunton must have thought they'd played it perfectly up to the goal - made us kick towards the Elvis End, then sucked the life out of the game. Our best play has come from Chizi down the left. Levi still looks like Bambi on ice to me, but well done him for his persistence.

Terrible, terrible refereeing. We get a player sent off for a 50/50 high ball, we get nothing for some awful Taunton tackles, with players twice pushed into the hoardings, shirt pulling unpunished and all sorts of other stuff. That said, we have played into their hands. No ambition at all second half. And the ref gets worse and worse.

Frustrating game. They came to soil but having said that they probably shaded the game until we scored. We never really risked anything to get that second and the equaliser was almost inevitable once the red was given.
Dubious red card and plenty of housery from them but the ref let them do it.
We need to grab games and win them. We seem to be in pre-season mode where it is good to run nice attacks and keep shape. Well teams will hang in games with us and give us the sucker punch. We need to be more adventurous and aggressive in attack

That said, we have played into their hands. No ambition at all second half. And the ref gets worse and worse. The ref was horrendous, some truly baffling decisions. That being said, we only have ourselves to blame for that - turned it on for about 10 minutes in the first half and then just disappeared second half. Zero game management or real endeavour to play and we let them back in it even before the red. Lots of discussion about keepers before the start of the season and even though he's made some solid saves here and there, Covulan looks disinterested to me. He's also conceded 7 in 5. The absolute pelting Earle would have got had he been our starting keeper at this point with the same stats... A positive: Aransibia and Ezennolims best games for us. They faded but they stood out by a mile for 60 odd minutes.

Bit of a pattern developing. We should be in the play-offs, not 12th. 6 points lost over last three games - and two reds.
George needs to get a grip before this turns into a self-fullfilling trend. Statement of the bleeding obvious, but we need to score more goals.
We need to hang on to leads too, obviously, but that's a lot easier when you know you can score more than one a game.

So, we will soon find out what our second string players are like. Still no sign of Greenidge or Wanju-Smith, Gurung and now Razzaq to miss games for red cards, while both Corne and Hoyte looked like they will miss games too, after going off injured. If Ogo Obi is our best bet up front, heaven help us. At the moment he makes James Alabi look good - and that is saying something. Taunton just came to spoil and never looked like scoring until the ref decided to play for them. How did he let them get away with the constant arm and shirt pulling, yet gave fouls every time we went near them? At the moment, am glad I can't make the Aveley game, because today felt far too much like the end of last season and if Taunton we any good, we should have lost by plenty.
