Or should it be Necrophiliac Timbers (Dead Boring)? Anyway, not one of our favourite oppositions, partly because we rarely do well against them and also because their chairman does little to make himself appear a nice guy. However, we did ok last season in the cup, so must hope we can get something out of this game and indeed the trip to Barnet on Saturday. Final round of FA cup matches before the NL teams join in this weekend too. A nice home draw against a (much) lower league opposition would be nice come Monday.

Away to anyone much lower will be cheaper than £19 to get in.As for Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz Wood I think Danny Hunter should pay for the Stones fans entrance fee to entice them out of their armchairs to the ground. The game will be tight,I think, and I'll take the draw that I have predicted. I'll not be there as I have family commitments but probably would not of gone anyway as they are another club I have no time for. I hope with the rise in profile in Women's football that Arsenal ladies end up playing at the Emirates and Danny Hunter will have to remortgage his house for 50 th time to keep the club snd their 300 fans going.

This was going to be my first away in three years - had the coach not been cancelled!
Mixed feelings about this, as BH is not somewhere I've ever wanted to go to. But it's rare that I can make away games, so I was looking forward to it (although in much the same way as I might "look forward" to Dover or Bromley or G&N...).
Hopefully, with our newfound confidence at the back, we can get a result there.

I bemoaned this being our televised game at first, but in hindsight with the rail strikes and the nature of Boreham Wood being a pretty uninspiring away day, I'm glad to watch this one from the comfort of my sofa!
Even though Chesterfield was a gutting result, it proved we can play like we did last season at this level. We'll give BW a tough day. 2-1 Stones.

Three points difference between the bottom nine clubs. Really need something from this one.

The lack of attacking options on the bench is a bit worrying

Barkers has the touch of Mason Greenwood.
We look dodgy on the ball over the top. Trying to out strength our men rather than playing the ball
