Well, nearly foreign, given that it is in Essex and we (sort of) have to cross the sea twice to get there. Given the efforts put in last night, wonder if Hak will need to make any changes? Hadler, presumably and wonder if he will be tempted to give one of the new signings a start up front? That said, Jack Barham still looked full of beans at the end, so just depends on how Hak sees us breaking them down.

If they’re fit I’d stick with the winning formula (keeper aside obviously)

Hadlers ban won't kick in for 7 days, so can play Saturday

Obviously they drew with a fading Dartford side on Tuesday so they can Obviously defend. Just like St Albans I would expect them to set up to play for a 0-0 draw on Saturday but we cannot be so unlucky twice in one week. I expect us to bury them by 2 or 3 goals with a crowd mo more than 800.

Swordy sounding very bullish these days, but in fairness, with good reason. Team looking nicely settled at present with a couple of 'shoe-horns' to fill in the defence and midfield. Lots of energy in the team at present but maintaining it for months on end will be a big ask of Hak. Good move to secure a couple of loan signings up front. Bit of concern with Tom Hadler and the repercussions of his rush of blood. Shame cause his form has been very good and showing serious consistency. Expect he is cursing his moment of 'madness'. Never mind Tom, we forgive you this once. As for Jack Barham, he is full of running of present, leading the line well and looking so positive. A definite starter imo. Stones are well able to beat any club in this league on their day, hopefully Saturday will be one of those days.

Concord are right up there as one on the league's nasty teams. They frustrated Dartford the other night, fouling, time wasting, niggling off the ball stuff, gamesmanship and the rest. Neutralisung and stopping the opposition playing, dragging teams down to their level. Sadly they are good at it and it works for them. A truly horrible club. We will need to take any chances that come our way Saturday, it def won't be essy.

Hi all, would anyone know whether it is easy to park near Concord’s ground. Many thanks, Keith Last time I went there parking was on both sides of the road leading to the ground. They have a car park also but I can't remember for how many. I got there about 2-15 and was parked about 100 yds from the ground, that's not to say things haven't changed though.

Just a word of warning for those travelling to the match, there is a weekend closure on the A13 around the Tilbury junction (A1089) from Friday night to Monday morning! You can go down the old A13 (A1306 / A1013) but it's not a fast road and with the extra traffic could be painful (and I know as I make this journey every week day) The coach will probably be using A127 and A130, which shouldn't be much longer, but obviously google maps and waze will be constantly consulted

Looking forward to this one. Think they'll make it hard work for us, but we'll ultimately run out 2-0 winners.
Does anyone know of any decent pubs on route? Struggling to find anything that looks half decent around the ground.

Lobster Smack near the sea wall a couple of miles from the ground
Trust me, I know the area quite well, there's nothing else!

Does anyone know of any decent pubs on route? Struggling to find anything that looks half decent around the ground. There are two or three pubs close to Benfleet station. That's probably your best bet. The Half Crown is my personal preference although it's a few years since my last visit.

No question that Stones are in good form. Concord are such a horrible team, well capable of spoiling tactics, play acting, gamesmanship, time wasting. niggling fouls and the rest. They will be hard to break down and the lads will need to take any chances that come their way. Just have a feeling that we may be looking at 0-0, but hoping we can nick a goal.

Only Dartford and Welling are below Concord in the form table.
With Hadler out and a couple of new signings, maybe time for a few changes?
Have to go for an away win, 3-1, attendance 799.
