Wow. How disrespectful is that from Luke Jenkins. Just watched the interview from Tonbridge TV on Facebook link. Can't believe he thinks Tonbridge were better than Stones throughout the whole 90 minutes. Seems he didn't let Luque get a kick. Went in hard first time and that put Joan off for the rest of the match. So cocky !

Just listened to the same interview. Seems he had an easy game against Joan Luque. Says they would "love to get 3 points against the Stones and that is exactly what they are going to do" Sounds very confident. 6-0, f**k 'em, Mangle tossers.

Hope Hak plays the interview to the lads pre match.

Highlights suggest we comfortably kept them at arms length and took our one chance really well. Hope we stuff them on Saturday.

I hear that Joan Luque has seen the interview. I can't imagine he is much impressed about spending 90 minutes in Luke Jenkins pocket. Nor the point about Jenkins getting stuck in early on to put off opponents and how it worked with Luque. Extra motivation for him and the lads against a Tonbridge team expecting 3 points.

"All over them from start to finish" "Going to play them next week and give em what they deserve" "Love to get 3 points and we are going to get 3 points"
A few quotes from Tonbridge's on loan super star.

Well how about this for a quote from Luke Jenkins.
"stick it on one of these guys early on and they don't fancy it after that"
Referring to his easy game against Joan Luque.
I do hope Joan and the boys listen to this interview.

Piss and wind. If we continue to play as we are, they will spend all afternoon chasing shadows.

No one dominated at any point. First half was end to end and we have the chances while they huffed and puffed. Second half, we looked second to the ball and they huffed and puffed. No one dominated.
Tonbridge did probably deserve a point but that’s the game.

Funny business, having just listened to the Luke Jenkins interview.
He totally rubbished Joan Luque, he was so disrespectful.
There again Jenkins described the match that was one where Tonbridge were all over Stones for the whole 90 minutes.
It sounded like his team just have to turn up at the Gallagher to get the 3 points that they deserved on Boxing Day.
Seems that we are going to get what's coming !
Such a cocky individual, he certainly rates himself very highly.
Hopefully Joan can show him a few of the games finer points on Sunday !

Jenkins definitely regards himself as a bit of a hard man (at the age of 19)
Suggesting that if you get stuck into the opponent early on, then players like Luque don't like it and don't perform.
We shall see what happens. Adds some spice to the match, but not sure that it was needed.

Seems like young Luke has developed quite a following with Facebook members.
Just possible he will get a warm welcome on Sunday.

Seems like young Luke has developed quite a following with Facebook members. Just possible he will get a warm welcome on Sunday. He'll probably thrive on it. We've had a few over the years who like to wind up the crowd. The problem is the more you lay into them the more they like it and it often comes back to bite you. Much better to ignore him and let him see his wind up tactics haven't worked.

Jenkins comes over as somebody who is arrogant, disrespectful, not particularly bright but loves himself. If he's half as good as he thinks he is, then he will be an outstanding prospect. Time will tell. But you are probably right, Luke Jenkins is a wind up merchant and enjoys playing the part of the villain. Our mature Main Standers may be happy to sit there quietly and contentedly, but I think the supporters at the Genco end will be a shade more vocal.
