To be fair to the HAK, I collered him in October during a ground tour befor a game and told him "You must win the local darbies, Tonbridge, Dartford, Welling, Dover and Bromley. Don't worry about the others they can be warmups" Think he took it to heart as so far 3 out of three. Just three to go and revenge against eastbourne. Oh, and six points against welling would be nice

Lol ! Yep, you clearly had a big influence on Hak's thinking with the advice you gave him. I am sure he took it to heart and has clearly acted upon it to positive effect. Hope he remembered to send you a Christmas Card. Lol !

I collared Hak before a game and told him “Jesus loves you”. He told me to f**k off.

Just wanna say I really enjoyed standing with the Genco boys joining in all the singing at Tonbridge. Don't think the legs could take it every week though. There's a reason most of us oldies sit in the main Stand. My knees were killing me by the end.

Fine result yesterday, sounds like Fowler and Ellul our idea centre back pairing. Will look forward to seeing the highlights having been in a mobile phone blackspot, with no internet over Christmas. Onwards and upwards.

I enjoyed yesterday, a lot more away support would of turned up if it hadn’t of been for covid. Guaranteed.
1st half really pleased we bossed it and scored.
2nd half Tonbridge obviously changed their system as they couldn’t handle us then they had a lot of the ball with some decent delivery but we headed everything out with ease. Really impressed with the back four especially Fowler.
Sorry Tonbridge, running out of refreshments half an hour in = tinpot club. Embarrassing. That segregation barrier. Oh dear 😂

No excuse.. Tonbridge knew exactly how many away fans were coming.. it was all-ticket FFS Maybe they gave it all to the massive unnecessary police presence again.. who is advising on police?? A police bill for Tonbridge they could have avoided. They could have borrowed some of our knuckle-dragging security instead??? The police spent most of the time bored and on their phones :-) Tonbridge are the architects of knuckle dragging security if you remember 2008 and the infamous 'Shakey tug of War' game

He skulked off and left me alone.😁

Spot on regarding the drink and food - shouldn't happen and I am sure those involved at our club will look at that in the future. don't forget though there's a little thing called COVID and a club like ours doesn't have the luxury of funds like your club does and had the game been called off etc. It would have been a lot of money wasted. Use your noggin.
policing isn't our choice - we are made to do it for this fixture. There were a few maidstone fans in the car park trying to get reactions from a few of our fans but no policing needed. As a whole both fans seemed to behave and the atmosphere was a bit dead for a derby. from our end we literally couldn't hear Maidstone sing - i know you were singing but we couldn't hear a thing. 50 people from Torquay were louder than you lot. Sounded like a group of school kids / scouts with that awful everywhere we go people stop and ask us song.
Maidstone got the job done and we couldn't score - story of our season.
You'll go up and you wont have to worry about little old Tonbridge - we know that, we accept that. but its fun to play you lot - especially when so many of you weren't there 15 years ago watching us play you at Ashford in front of 300 people when we were - amazing what leaving a town and coming back can do!
looking forward to the return fixture on Sunday.

Believe me bobs, playing you lot from Tonbridge is massively better in every way than having to suffer the double header against Dover as part of our sufference in the National League.

Believe me bobs, playing you lot from Tonbridge is massively better in every way than having to suffer the double header against Dover as part of our sufference in the National League. Back in the Isthmian South Dover was one of the favourite away days. No segregation and great rapport between the two sets of fans. That all changed when Dover reached the national league. Treat away fans like absolute shit nowadays. Tonbridge is a better away day now, even with segregation. At least the away section isn't like something out of a German POW camp, unlike the cage at Dover.

Watch out for Luke Jenkins, a loan signing for Tonbridge. Listening to a post match interview, he reckons he was too good for Joan Luque, kept him in his pocket on Boxing Day, apparently Joan he didn't get a look in. Seems that our win was fortunate cause Tonbridge were all over us for 90 minutes. We only had one chance and one shot on target. He's looking forward to Tonbridge getting all 3 points at the Gallagher.
We can only hope the lads and Joan in particular can put on a half decent performance.

Just listened to the same interview. Seems he had an easy game against Joan Luque. Says they would "love to get 3 points against the Stones and that is exactly what they are going to do" Sounds very confident.
