I thought that the game was evenly matched until we started making substitutions. As per the Bromley game I was impressed by the Keeper & back Four; Elokobi is a class player & I'm sure he could still play at a higher level.
The wide players, Amaluzor & Kyei again caused lots of problems. I didn't know at the time who the number 9 was but I thought he was the best striker in the side so far. I now know it was McClure; I would be happy if we signed him.
I can't see why Kamdjo was signed, he came on after an hour for Corne (who took a nasty knock) and his performance can only be described as embarrassing.
I didn't realise that Phipps, Strigovic & Quigley were playing for D&R. I don't think any of these are a great loss.
Overall I feel positive for the forthcoming league games.

Sadu Khan is I am led to believe, a student who is highly thought of by people at MUFC. I thought he had a good game, making himself room and wanting the ball although he seemed to run out of gas after about 70 mins. Sign him up I say.

I think we are all in general agreement about last nights game, which did inspire confidence. Cole Elokobi, Johnson, Hoyte and Chesmain are all quality at the back, Pennell was Ok. Nana and Justin down the flanks looked excitingly dangerous and Sadu Khan was useful in midfield.
McClure didn't look up to it to me, reminded me of Frannie Collin when he was out of his depth, so we still need that striker but the No17 looked good when he came on, could he fit the bill?
I wanted to like Corne but he seemed to struggle to me, and yes, Clovis sadly looks so far over the hill that he's already far away!
We need to get Stephen Okoh into the mix, together with that elusive good No9 and a solid ball winning holding midfielder but otherwise, a very encouraging evening.

Agreed about Kamdjo, looked all at sea. First touch almost put them through on goal and didn't get a lot better. Midfield was the best I've seen us for a while, and though they didn't dominate they certainly didn't look as flaky as last season. Still not convinced about the strikers, we put in a few decent crosses and they were never quite in the right place, although to be fair, that's something that could come with familiarity.

On a positive note, he played marginally better last night than his attempts at Dover last week.

Very disappointing performances from Kamdjo so far. It wasn't meant to be like this. He's only 28 years old so his legs surely havn't gone. Strong professional background at a higher level, looks a decent athlete and well known by John Still. So many poor signings last season from players who seemed to look the part on paper. Still some time to improve and a lot of improvement is needed by Clovis and soon if he is to fulfil expectations.

Hopefully he will find his fitness after a few more weeks as he should be a good asset

I think we are putting a lot of eggs in one basket for our Midfield, Even if we sign the impressive trialist If there’s an injury to Corne (who’s not set the world alight) we look thin. I wasn’t expecting Clovis to be that shot physically and would rather of us got Prestedge instead of Welling.
Two midfielders are a must, and at least one more striker. Edwards from what I’ve seen isn’t going to worry too many defenders and Olutade has disappointed me so far, with little X factor about frankly any of our signings. Some solid though, but getting that Striker in is going to be key and frankly that money Casey and Ash mentioned for that special player If they arrive should be spent, because frankly our goals for the PSFs or lack of have been a bit of a worry.
Get a good striker and a solid midfielder with maybe someone who can come Off the bench and have some X factor about them and it will be the difference between us looking up the table rather than down the bottom half IMO due to the excellent competition/squads around us

Didn't come on until halftime at Dover and sometime into the second half yesterday yet looked totally lost in both games.

That makes sense. The creating more atmosphere argument doesn’t make sense as a big empty stand creates an atmosphere vacuum! Shame though, as I was hoping fans would start to want to come to see the new team in the next two games at home against decent opposition now the Bay and the Grinsteads are out of the way and first NLS game is looming. If more do come tonight, and they are Genco people, the closure will be off putting. Are we really that short of money? I hope not! We’re skint oldboy I wouldn't go that far, but Ebbsfleet are having a bucket collection for us at their next home game!

It is hard to know what to make of the PSFs. Dagenham seemed like a decent test, but then you look at who was playing for them and start to wonder. The earlier games don't really count because everyone was feeling their way back at that stage. As for Southend, they might be a stern test, but again it all depends on who they play. You'd hope Stones would field the starting eleven for Weymouth, give or take a couple. Will Southend field a strong side or mainly youth players and triallists? We won't know what the new Maidstone side is like until after the Weymouth game and even then, suspect the visitors will aim to come and enjoy themselves at what will be, for them, a big occasion. Let's hope they don't do an Ireland.

I wouldn't go that far, but Ebbsfleet are having a bucket collection for us at their next home game! You guys will be elated to know that Hill has recruited a big, strong and experienced set of players who are good enough ( based on what we have witnessed over that past 2 seasons) to make the play offs. And with money still available, we are expecting at least 3 more signings. And before your troll Dave Harris responds, salaries are and will continue to be paid on time. And we don't want MacMahon back either. Good luck in the Conf South, it's a tough league to escape from.

You have lost a few as well but I still think you will be pushing playoffs. Still not sure I’d sleep easy with the current owner in place, if I were you, but enjoy the rollercoaster while it goes.

Hammerstone is 100% correct. At least 2 stellar signings are urgently required to bolster the team. One midfielder and one striker. Hope you are working on it Mr Still. Time to 'splash the cash' Mr Casey.
