Giving this one a miss today but hope it’s a good showing, and that our attack finally give some indication they can score a goal if required.

That makes sense. The creating more atmosphere argument doesn’t make sense as a big empty stand creates an atmosphere vacuum! Shame though, as I was hoping fans would start to want to come to see the new team in the next two games at home against decent opposition now the Bay and the Grinsteads are out of the way and first NLS game is looming. If more do come tonight, and they are Genco people, the closure will be off putting. Are we really that short of money? I hope not! The entire crowd for the Bromley game would have fitted comfortably in the main stand. Based on last season they surely should be considered the "decent opposition" rather than Dagenham or Southend U23s?
Or are you suggesting the Bromley crowd was low because the Genco stand wasn't open for that game either and it put people off?
But Bromley was early on amongst the Bays and Grinsteads...........we are two games from NLS start, surely the excitement about our victorious NLS campaign and return to NL is building now?

Maybe a number of stewards are taking their vacations now before the start of the season? Or are they out of contract and looking for new clubs?

Maybe we should put buckets around the ground for generous donations or pass the plate around at half time?

These stewards are on vacations throughout the season as seen in the last 3 years whilst we were in The National League !! 🤣🤣🤣

Any news on Stephen Okoh, who at least scored twice on Friday, but doesn't seem to feature tonight?

Any news on Stephen Okoh, who at least scored twice on Friday, but doesn't seem to feature tonight? Lost track of the amount of trialists we’ve had! More surprised by no Edwards and knight unless injured. I imagine If we were to sign any we’ve played they would be in the team today as the more “serious” friendly IMO

Worryingly it actually looks like they know what they're doing tonight. Time will tell how long that lasts.

Decent performance tonight. Still need a goalscorer up front, but defence and midfield look good, especially first half. Wide players (full backs and wingers) both sides impressed. Too many subs after the break made it all a bit disjointed but grounds for cautious optimism.

I thought no 6 Ryan Johnson looked very useful. A pairing of him and George Elokobi should be a solid CB partnership if we can get him. Not impressed with Matt McClure though

The number 8 (trialist) looked very good in midfield last night. Always wanted the ball from the defence and was a physical presence which we have not had for a while. Hopefully he can be signed up. What happened to the trialist who scored 2 goals against East Grinstead?
