I'd buy a ST whatever was going on or I expected to happen next season. And so would many/most. That's what you do. Supporting a football club is never about promotion, winning, etc, it's just about supporting your club - whatever happens. Otherwise there'd be no supporters (or clubs) outside the top 5 or 6 PL clubs. Wry smile offered..

Oh dear another EFL dreamer sorry matey we are light years away from that possibility get used to it or find you dream elsewhere. Plus who wants to go league football anyway non league is way better. Indeed. I'm beginning to discount the NL from that though.Dover is a prime example. For years I enjoyed going there. Chatting to some of their lads I know etc. The last couple of visits were rubbish. Penned in that corner like I was in a Pow camp!

Supporting a football club is an expensive and sometimes strange condition. On Radio 5 this morning, they spoke to a bloke who supports Port Vale and whose wife supports Newcastle. Hence they went to both games yesterday, with Vale at Bury, then Newcastle at 1945... With an overnight stay at a Premier Inn and 400 mile round trip, it must have cost a bit. Next season should be a lot cheaper for Stones fans, with more away games in easy reach and if the football is half decent, then no reason why the club shouldn't be very well supported.

I can see it being more costly for some fans (including me).
With more away games within reach I'm likely to be going to a few more than 2018/19 - the only "north" match I attended was Chesterfield.
Still, COYS

Still, COYS From my point of view, our last stay in NLS was so brief that I missed a lot of decent away's, so next year a good chance to fill in some gaps.
