Sounds bad. Clubs have survived at the last minute before, but I think this sounds terminal. Although they could always move south and call themselves Invicta Broons...

Bit worrying that Dorking Wanderers have signed Jake Gallagher from D&R. Another side with a sugar daddy?
Haven't we got enough competition in the NS already?!

Why are you so worried.D&R only just survived relegation in the last 2 weeks of the season so their team was pretty shit and this shit team has offloaded Gallagher and they wouldn't do that if he was any good would they. I also think if Gallgher was any good he wouldn't step down to a relatively unknown commodity at this level. I would very much doubt Dorking woild be financially better off than most yeams in the NLS.

Someone said the other day that Truro will still get relegated (why?), so they expect Oxford to stay in the NS - but what then happens in the NN?

It would depend on how many levels Gateshead get demoted.

It would depend on how many levels Gateshead get demoted. My impression is that they'll probably go out of business, so Gateshead FC won't exist any more, so there'll just be a gap in the NL (an Aldershot sized gap, presumably). Any phoenix club will have to negotiate with the local leagues where they'll end up. But with no ground and no senior players, they won't be anywhere near the NL. Put bluntly like that it makes you really feel for the fans. Brings back horrible memories.

Aldershot have appointed Danny Searle as their new boss. Won 6 from 16 games at the end of last season after taking over from Hakan at Braintree. Thought they might have gone with someone with a bit more experience but time will tell

Thought they might have gone with someone with a bit more experience but time will tell Yes that's an odd one. When I think of Aldershot I still think EFL2 fallen on hard times and so still expect them to have that calibre of Manager, a name we all know.
Although I like the Shots, and I do think they are a club which should be at least in the NL, if this appointment means they might be more beatable for us in NLS, then game on!
