I have checked and Tonbridge will actually be at home as they finished higher in the league as per Bostik web site. Yep you are right just seen Merstham say they are travelling to Tonbridge for final. Makes sense 👍🏻

Indeed they do. They also have one Fabio Sariava back for the third time to his spiritual home. Another player who could have been much more but somehow didn't fulfil it.

Anyone got any idea when the NL will decide who goes oop north? (Presumably the clubs need to know asap.)
I imagine the Gateshead/Aldershot/Truro situation won't be sorted out for a while. We weren't actually officially kicked out of Div 4 until we admitted we couldn't put a team out for the first fixture, but I assume they've learnt from that debacle...)

I was going to say when the fixtures come out, however if i were one of those clubs I'd want to know now so that i can target certain players it's no good getting guys in who think they'll be playing local southern games then having to go Chester, spennymoor etc every other week as it could impact work/home life and means the players could end up leaving.

It will be sorted as soon as the play offs are concluded this weekend and announced soon afterwards. Then the appeals will start flying in at various levels and when they are heard it gets set in concrete. Then clubs fold and f**k it all up again😁

Nightmare for the clubs. Thank God we aren't in that situation. They really ought to split the NL second tier into three - south, midlands and north. Then not only would transfers between leagues be easier, but the northern clubs wouldn't have all the travel they have to do. And while they're at it - three up, three down between NL and EFL. Finishing second really should give you guaranteed promotion.

How would 4 down into 3 leagues work? It would have to be 6 down which is plainly ridiculous, or 3 up and 3 down automatically and a playoff between 19th 20th and 21st and the three playoff winners to decide the other three places, which is also pretty ridiculous. Best stick with two regional leagues I think.

It will be quite ironic if welling go back to the national league, considering we went up as they went down three years ago
