Now here is an interesting debate in this most awful of seasons.
We all love WDH for his Terry Butcher like passion and some goals scored but he was at fault in far too many against us.
Blair has just missed too much of it, but his goal tally may still swing it.
Phillips was played out of position at right back but made a fist of it and can be brilliant going forward but can also go quiet for long spells, but at least he has been around all season.
No consistent keeper or left and right backs to vote for and no consistent goalscorers either................so whose your candidate?

Without doubt I'll vote for Amaluzor. In a shit season he has already produced three moments of absolute class. One for the future obviously, but who else has really gripped you this year. Players who've been around for a while through the year have, by definition, all contributed to our sorry position.

For me Michael Phillips. Out of favour. Out of position. A couple of goals. Also liked Smith in goal. Don’t it feel like a long season though

Frankly no one deserves it. A few players have given flashes of what they are about and that’s great but when you imagine player of the season it’s someone who gives their all, in most if not all games and through one thing or another we’ve not had that.
Turgott probably shades to only for his little run before he got crooked.
Maybe we should have Manager of the season instead?

I think it’ll be WDH or Phillips but I’m on the side of no one really deserving it. I like the look of Justin too but he really hasn’t been here long enough and those who have all have let us down frequently m.

Michael Phillips for me. No one else even comes close. Amaluzor, definitely one for the future but not played enough games to be in with a shout this year.

I have said it before an I,ll say it again I think the club should suspend the vote for this season purely down to the fact of how poor the team has performed over the entire season, if it is to be awarded this year it makes a mockery of the award for all the others who have won it in the past. Cannot see this happening but I wish it would.

Jack Richards. He done more in 3.5 games than some done all season.

Jack Richards. He done more in 3.5 games than some done all season. By that measure Sword, Sean Shields would be the man, but I guess the vote should only be for people still wearing black and amber.
Which surely means they are going to have to make this award quickly before the axe falls almost certainly on the recipient and most of the rest of the squad!
Surprised no-one making a punt for WDH as PoS. For me its Phillips, but as he is the best of a bad bunch who doesn't come near to comparing to previous worthy winners, better to or cancel the competition.
Change it to "most promising for next year" and give it jointly to Embury and Amaluzor!

What a dearth of candidates. tbh Phillips really hasn't done enough to deserve it, his performances have been mostly 6/10 or 7/10. But over the season he has probably done more than anyone else and could win by default.

Can we not vote for the person who scores the goal that sends us down and finally puts us out of our misery?
Can't think of anybody who's worn our shirt that deserves it.
