Maybe we should have an extra box added with the option of none of the above

What a dearth of candidates. tbh Phillips really hasn't done enough to deserve it, his performances have been mostly 6/10 or 7/10. But over the season he has probably done more than anyone else and could win by default. My point exactly, Nick!

Well not exactly oldboy, judging by your various comments "Phillips was played out of position at right back but made a fist of it" "Can be brilliant going forward but can also go quiet for long spells" "At least he has been around all season" "I think it’ll be WDH or Phillips" "I’m on the side of no one really deserving it". "For me its Phillips, but as he is the best of a bad bunch"A fair bit of meandering along the way but I guess we ended up with the same conclusion (sort of)

I find it very hard to be serious for any great length of time but if Michael Phillips is the best we have had all season then it shows what an absolute shower of shit the rest of them are. I for though tend to agree with those who have chosen him. I though would pick Quigley who has been constantly shit all season for 3 different clubs and that takes some doing just ask Emile Heskey.

Maybe the fans deserve it Yep any fan who has done every league home and away should get the award this season, there can only be a few who are eligible.

OK here is a question spurred by the mention of Emil Quigley. Who would be the most ridiculous and undeserving player who has worn Black and Amber this season to be given player of the year?

Undeserving must be Josh Taylor. At least Emil Quigley had 2 assists against Dagenham and Henry made at least 1 save. Josh Taylor has done sweet FA

So depressing being reminded of all the below par and shocking signings this season.
Plenty of contenders for the 'Undeserving Player Award', but I agree Josh Taylor is right up there with the worst of them.

Plenty of candidates but Henry wins by a country mile as he is the worst keeper ever to wear the goalkeepers shirt for Maidstone ever well at least since 1972 when I started watching us.

You know I was going to counter that statement and dig up a name that challenged your claim but then I thought that even Charlie Mitten inspired more confidence than Henry!
It also made me realise what great keepers we have had over the years, from Maggs, Bellotti and Guy in the 70's through the Hesforsd and Beeneys right up to Derren Ibrahim and Worgs.
I think Josh Taylor has it over Henry though. At least I didn't keep forgetting that Henry was on the pitch. Taylor has been a better spectator of the Stones this season than all of us on this forum put together!
The worrying thing is don't the management team rather like him? Unless he has hidden depths we haven't seen yet, I hope not!
