Just came down the M20 from London and was concerned to see the Haynes "Worgan Wagon" on the hard shoulder with an ambulance in attendance. I hope the kit man is OK.

From their fans forum just now "Hope that lot go down, from what I saw of them today their fans are a classless bunch. In a way I can understand why we were moved out of the TBS as there would have been a fair chance of trouble". How can someone from Dagenham come out with such a statement lol?! Probably due to the handful of muppets that had to handheld all the way to the station by plod, the stone island thugs who if they got hit would cry to mummy. You will stay up as I have seen worse teams this season, did not know you had only won 2 in 22 that is shocking in what is a very poor league and as you say surprise your manager is still there. Is it a case of this level is to high for him with contacts etc. Hope to see you again next year if we’re still in existence. Good luck on staying up.

Mind you, what did we (honestly) expect - we haven't actually won away since Torquay - 13 away games without a win.
Anyone remember those early-season discussions about why our away form was so much better than playing at home...

His interviews are full of 'what ifs'. Our position in the national league is above and beyond his managerial capability. Even if we do manage to survive he has got to go. We cannot waste another pre season tying up nonleague 'loan' and completely unproven players! Gates drop and he goes!

Some people would have us keep him as manager even if we got relegated back to the Ryman Leagues. Yes hes done good things for this club in the past, but you cant keep a manager just on what hes done a few years back.....its a results business at the end of the day.

As people are questing Jay’s position at the end of the season. If he does go who would or could we get to replace Jay as manager and will improve us?

"aiming for the play -offs" etc. 2 wins in half a season of matches - he deserves to go but i guess he wont be but if we go down it puts a big dent in his managerial ambitions - personally i think this will be as high as he goes in his career.

I reckon Jay is just keeping us close to the relegation zone so we can have a massive party on the last day when we clinch servival against Halifax....! Think of the scenes 🤪
But seriously am worried now. Phillips the only player for me who put in a shift as well as showed some ability. Lewis tried, but lost the ball too much. How Reason and DSY get near the starting 11 is beyond me. 4-3-3 does not work for us and has not worked for months.
We kept the majority of the squad that finished last season so strongly which made sense, this should hopefully mean we will make whole sale changes to the squad in the summer as we are doing the opposite.

Nope Jay wants to keep a lot of this squad.

Jay must be seriously disappointed with DSY's goal tally this season. Such a pity because the rest of his game is decent. Enough is enough. But the problem up front doesn't end there. Turbo simply isn't delivering when it matters. Amazingly Loza still looks unfit ! So changes are a must for the run in of matches. Agree with earlier post that Reason's current form is well below par and really he doesn't deserve a starting position. Lewis had a poor match today but he is still my Player of the Season (again) Happily Phillips looks the real deal ! Hopefully Coker will be for fit the week-end. Maybe Will too !

Sad to say, survival is no longer in our own hands, apart from trying to stay ahead of Woking. Solihull win their game in hand and beat us and they go ahead on points. Likewise if Barrow win their two. Unlikely, but very worrying. Daft as it may seem, Wynter up front is not the worst idea and am thinking Twumasi could do just as well as Loza on the wing. Given we have spare defenders who have actually scored (Anderson and Hare as well), would a complete shake up create something? Ok, probably not. However, not sure what the point is of playing Turgott, Lorza or Sam Yorke, when they have sod all goals between them (and really don't look like scoring either) - unless of course Richards, Paxman, Wraight, Orsei and Coker are even worse in training? Personally, there seems nothing to lose in dropping all three for the rest of the season and giving others a go. They can't be any worse! Guiseley will play as free spirits next Saturday, Fylde won't fear coming here, Solihull will certainly be up for it and Chester have nothing to lose. That leaves Halifax on the last day of the season, by which time it really could be a must win to stay up. Sorry to be pedantic but "Sad to say, survival is no longer in our own hands" "Solihull win their game in hand and beat us and they go ahead on points" Would you like to try again?

Today we were just pedestrian.
Up front we carry no goal threat whatsoever. Even when we did score it took about ten attempts to scramble in ball from four yards. In the middle Lewis is enthusiastic but no ball player and Reason was playing at a pace I watched many seasons ago. Loza is blatantly unfit. Turgott has little end product. We did seem to look a little bit better when Phillips was alongside Lewis and Luer up front. Luer did actually seem to be making runs into the right areas rather than just allowing himself to get easily marked. Most of all we were just static. I don't get it after the give and go stuff I watched against Macclesfield the other week.
