So another home game on Saturday, can we make it 3 wins on the trot? Will be a tough game but hoping we can keep the momentum going so another 2-1 with 2400 in attendance.

Always good to be optimistic but I would be pleasantly surprised to see 2,400 on the day. Non attending season ticket holders will boost numbers but the longish run of league home draws and defeats is bound to impact upon the number of less committed supporters Perhaps 2,200 is more realistic and a win with any sort of scoreline would do nicely

I think even the less committed supporters are realistic enough to understand that we will have bad spells and hope things will get better. It's probably a bit like withdrawing from a lottery syndicate, you keep putting it off in case this turns out to be the week you win.

It would be nice to win the lottery, I would personally make a voluntary donation to the club to pay for all the upgrades of the ground !!

I don't imagine I'll ever win, but I dream of winning really big on Euromillions so I can build a Football League standard ground in exchange for a free life season ticket.

DaveU "Wow - I've won £5m!"
Mrs DaveU "Great - we can buy a new house, a couple of cars, give up our jobs and travel the world, give half a million each to the kids, buy my mum a nice bungalow, maybe even give some to charity."
DaveU "errrm"
Mrs DaveU "What was that dear? is there something you'd like to do with some of the money as well?"
DaveU "er, I was thinking of spunking it all on a new stadium for the Stones"
Long pause, while Mrs DaveU stares at her husband - various expression pass across her face. Joy and pleasure are not amongst them.
DaveU "er, right, when do we start looking for a new house then?"

That is of course nephelococcygia (cloud cuckoo land © Aristophanes), have you seen the odds? But seriously, you can do what I have done, which is to leave a substantial gift in your Will to the club. That may not produce the money in time for this year's transfer window (fingers crossed), but at least when the time comes your wife can't nick it!

Had any mysteriously close moments with Range Rovers recently? If I were you, I wouldn't walk to the ground or eat or drink anything there...

Can everyone now agree that we need a new keeper? How many more chances does he get? Absolutely fuming that we lost this game. A game we controlled throughout. Jay can’t defend him any longer.

Cannot be critical of the team today We worked hard and played well, except in one important position. For much of the match Eastleigh were out-played But yet again they were gifted goals. Such a let down Pretty clear what the priority signing should be

Unbelievable result. Shocked and totally peed off! That's got to be worgs last game for us. He's made so many errors this season and this unsettles the defence. And delano is not the answer to the large piggott shaped hole up front.

Ironically, now we are not reliant on a tricky winger and a goal-hanger, there were some really exciting passes and crosses whipped in. Goal keeping mistakes cancelled each other out, so I guess you would call it bad luck (I refuse to blame refs).
