Looking forward to seeing the highlights. Just a vlog on YouTube so far. Shall I say what I think about vlogs...? If it's the same one I saw it was virtually unwatchable, especially on a phone.

I took a few phone clips but they aren't great. Too difficult to keep the damn thing still - I don't think I'll bother posting them

What puzzles me, especially given our second half performance, is why we were so bad in the first half - and why the long ball? Deliberate tactic by JS to confuse Sutton, wrong selection/tactics, team not doing what manager told them to do, some players not trying, 'just one of those things'?

Interesting to see Sutton's highlights. Our first goal looks a strange one and not sure Magnus knew much about it. Good for him to be there though. Quite a deflection on Paxman's goal too, so makes a change for us to have the rub of the green. Not needed with Pigott's goal - definitely the best of the three and way better than the reports or commentary suggested. Wonderful though our keeper is, am starting to wonder if he always gets his angles right. Might be me, but does he get beaten too often by cross shots of the kind seen at Sutton? Still a god amongst men, mind.

A team whose official colours are chocolate and amber singing Come On You Yellows.

Not the worst 0-0 draw against what is clearly a decent side. Hines a handful and with Ter Horst looking fit, we now have the option of tricky wingers on both touchlines. A Saunders favourite in the past, methinks. On today's showing that would be better than Sam Yorke out wide. Him or Pigott down the middle? Lewis put a hell of a shift in, while Reason seems to be settling in well. The defence continue to look solid, with Magnus clearly doing the organising. One noticeable difference from last season is we seem much more streetwise. Reason for one very aware their defender had just been booked. Personally, thought he could have played on, because there was a real opening at that point. Hines knows how to buy free kicks too... Interesting game on Saturday in that it will be the first time we play a team below us in the league. However with Orient third, despite being stuffed 6-1 at Bromley, who knows?

I think there were too many players who were 'off the boil' at 3pm and maybe were playing with too much fear, given that they started top. It was noticeable that we started to look a little better around the 40th minute. Delano started to move a little. A couple of passes started to find the right place. At the start of the second half we played slow and going nowhere football at first but we did at least start to hold possession. That seemed to breed confidence. The introduction of Hines really kickstarted things because suddenly we started to push Sutton back and we had a player that was worrying them. We got back into things with a somewhat fortunate goal and then never looked back. The first half performance was nothing more than a 'poor day at the office'.
