First half was hoof ball from us, sutton looked really good. But the second half was won by us. Defence was much better in the second. We wanted it more. As for comments on dsy, he ran his socks till the end. Great effort by him and the rest of the team in getting the win. Wynter looks quality along side Magnus. I thought Anderson and hare had good games. Along with what others have already said about subs etc. Great finish from pigs too. Back to back wins will do nicely.

I was quite shell-shocked by the end of that game. We were utterly inept in the first half. Couldn't string more than about three passes together, overhit longer passes, sluggish and slow to the point where it looked as though Sutton were playing a veterans' team. Second Half we started a bit better (TBF we finished the first half with better running and a very good free kick). The introduction of Hines seem to change things dramatically. Suddenly we seemed to carry a threat. I was quite surprised at how Sutton seemed to lose heart the moment we gained some. Having heard (all the way to the ground) about how we needed 12 chances to get one goal we scored 3 from 4 or 5 chances. All in all a very satisfying win. On to Monday when it's....the league leaders!

Very poor performance by us in the second. Three shots and three goals, that's not a bad return for your second half dominance. Cheers, game of two halves for you as well then. Dont believe your league position is that false and you could be up up there at the payoffs come may good luck If Sutton are going to finish in a play off spot the manager will have to sort out their attitude. Having outplayed us in the first half they seemed to stroll out in the second expecting us to roll over Even before the equaliser they were moaning at each other as we took the game to them When we scored I've never seen a teams heads go down so quickly When they kicked off after our third I counted at least six 'double teapots' I was told that Bailey told their right back he was 'f***ing useless' A lot of them left soon after the game, Doswell has some work to do However badly we may have played under Jay, I have never seen a Saunders side throw in the towel like Sutton did! That includes when we got relegated from the Ryman Premier at Ashford

One of the highlights yesterday was the absence of segregation. I applaud Sutton for that.

I can see the point in two defensive midfielders if we're playing 5 across the middle but otherwise its a useless exercise. Can we get away with playing 3 at the back? Yes, when Finney is fit. I'd forgotten we only have him on loan until the end of the year, but perhaps Lokko will want to come back to us by then!

One of the highlights yesterday was the absence of segregation. I applaud Sutton for that. Although some criticism on the Sutton forum about the behaviour of a minority of Stones fans.

Although some criticism on the Sutton forum  about the behaviour of a minority of Stones fans. With some justification. Banter is banter but some of the comments and chants by the usual mindless minority were embarrassing. Sutton is a decent and friendly club - on the whole they seem to think the same about us so let's not spoil it.

Very friendly supporters and a nice little non league ground. It made me think how lucky we are with our development though. The ground did not look ready for the football league and compared to ours lacked atmosphere.
