Gutted we drew, felt like we should have been 2 or 3 up by the point the storm hit and Maidenhead equalised. I just hope we won't be hearing "we just got to take our chances" from Jay Saunders as much as last season. Today was one of those. Anyway here's our goal: youtu.be/FJtW0fn7Ylk

Should have scored the 2nd goal which would have killed the game off and we paid the price. Maidenhead were a very average side.

Very average but we dropped points. We must finish these games off if we're going to have a good season.

Agreed, we had control of that game, could have and should have finished them off. In my opinion I thought they were less than average and didn't offer much at all. But we move on, Finney looked good on his debut, and a great free kick from Joe.

It's Groundhog Day. Same issues as start of last season. Have the chances but just can't score. Hopefully the players score a hatful on Tuesday.

It did not help that the Maidenhead kit looked like a tesco carrier bag either!

Pretty good performance today until the last 15 mins. Should have buried them well before that. As with the start of last season we dropped too deep towards the end of the game. As soon as teams know they can push more bodies forward they become more of a threat, and to be honest we then end up riding our luck. Not a good idea to change the style of play when we were so dominant. But,onwards and upwards and learn from the mistakes. Jay and the players will sort it I'm sure and I still feel really positive for the season.

Standing by their manager hobbling around the technical area, he looked like he was on day release from the old folks hone.
