same game, different view point syndrome I suppose, but I thought Seth and in fact the whole back line, did a pretty decent job against the 'head - not sure DSY is quite up to pace yet though, didn't seem to win much in the air, or get past defenders a lot, either on Saturday or in some of the PSFs; hope he's recovering from that whack on the nose; seem to remember he got clumped against Southend too, and in Arras

He could be immense for us when he gets his sharpness.

He could be immense for us when he gets his sharpness. once he gets his match fitness up he will be even more of a handful, however I believe he should be used more centrally than out wide, however that is only my humble opinion

I'm not sure about his width he was wearing a full football kit at the time

Notwithstanding all that, his delivery into the box is pretty decent as well, as opposed to the overhit crosses that seem to be our wont.

Looking at the club website fixture list, I see we get the chance to play Maidenhead at home in the league again on December 9tn!

Two similar MUFCs always had the potential for complications. I don't remember ever being in the same league as another MUFC, let alone one so similar.

Only when maidenhead and us were both in national league south in 2015/2016 season 😀 Only other Mufc i can think of is those red ones in the premier league with the whiny manager, there is a Mill Hill United but they would be mhufc.

Mangotsfield United from the Evo-Stick South West league are one of only 4 MUFCs in the top 16 English leagues. We know the other 3.
For many years (back from the Kent League days) I have had great delight in asking people to guess who my team is. I say that it is one only of four MUFCs. Immediately I get a reply suggesting it is that northern one! When I say "No way", the look on most people's faces is one of "who can it be?" I simply don't tell them. Those who know about football will guess, some immediately and others may reply after Googling. As I live in Oxfordshire, most think it is Maidenhead United.
Eventually I tell them!
