Jay Saunders may have said he was going to play Flish in a more attacking role, but as our main striker he just hasn'the got the qualities needed Playing off LEM Flish can be so more effective but for some reason Jay doesn'the seem to rate Liam So back to the drawing board. Flish unavailable for Saturday so expect another change

"Maidstone were never going to score all night ,not even with a £10 brothel voucher in a brothel" Teams know how to beat us before a balls kicked I'm afraid . To say no quality is wholly incorrect. We are not 4 points behind the likes of Wrexham, Sutton Bromley, and were unlucky last night. Maybe a bit of encouragement to the team, management instead of all this? Yes we need to improve things and they are, we'll see what jays move is but we will not go down because of his ability, if we do, rather because of circumstances like money .

Ah so we didn't beat Guiseley Woking Bromley Solihull At home due to money ?? His ability will be judged on tactics and they are limited And his signings most have been very poor at this level .

Quotes on daggers boards. "No quality in Maidstone team ." "A poor game " "Maidstone were never going to score all night ,not even in a £10 brothel with a free voucher " Teams know how to beat us before a balls kicked I'm afraid . Whereas the Stoner board contain comments about daggers along the lines of (can't be bothered to actually look them up) : - Top four are you having a laugh?
- Stones at least as good as
- Without one switch-off we would have drawn and been frustrated not to win.
Not sure that proves much.
On the other hand the club site Match Report finds that they had 4 shots on target worthy of mention while we had 3 (we had more less worthy of mention, I'm not sure they did). And to quote them, the result of each of these :
- Stones - " Justham then did very well to deny Alex Flisher"
- Daggers - "The opening goal of the game"
- Daggers - "Lee Worgan did well to deny him."
- Stones - "Justham produced another great save" (from Pax)
- Daggers -"Maguire-Drew weaved his way into the box, however the shot was blocked." ( Just before half-time, not sure I remember that, but I'll be generous and assume it was on target.)
- Stones - "Justham did very well to deny the Stones from scoring an equaliser through Jamar Loza. "
- Daggers - "With five minutes left of the match, Maguire-Drew was found by Whitely, but Worgan did well to deny the forward once again. "
Reads like a pretty even game that either side could have won - which has what I saw.
I know the tendency is to big up your own keepah, but Worgs - "did well" twice and one shot was "blocked"; whereas Justham, produced a [nother?] "great save" and did very well twice.
Not sure if stats are available anywhere? (or if maybe StonesTV could start keeping them?) on Shots / Shots on target - doesn't mean that much, but it's one of the first things I look at when catching up with the other team in which I have an interest.
Damn - these antidepressants are good

LEM is in the top 25 of scorers in the national league at no25 with 5 goals.

As we play more games in this league against the top sides I see how out of touch and depth Jay Saunders is. With Flish suspended for Saturday,s game now must be the perfect time for a change of formation and personnel, surely Jay know,s more than 4-4-2

As we play more games in this league against the top sides I see how out of touch and depth Jay Saunders is. Clearly you are an expert in these matters, therefore could you pleasure us with the name of your " ideal replacement " bearing in mind the loss of Jay would ultimately destabilise not only the first team but also our very successful academy. Is that you Steve Watt or Jack Parkinson wanting to return ? Please do not forget the budget restraints, that are preventing the sudden influx of 5k a week players, also so the "top" managers seem to be gainfully employed at present, mind you Justin Edinburgh could be available shortly, just look at his track record. Think I would stick with what we have, Jays passionate about the club and appears not to suffer fools gladly, every confidence that we will stay up, and progress next season with out bankrupting the club again. Just glad to be watching National League football after years in the wilderness.

Its still probably 50/50 on us staying up and it would be Jays finest achievement if we can. It will probably come down to weather Jay is able to recruit only a couple of established national league players. Maybe a center back but definitely a central midfielder where we have badly struggled it might break our budget but it better then relegation I for one think Jay will save the day COYS.

Sorry, can't agree that breaking the budget is better than relegation. We have a sensibly run club that lives within its means and I suspect the vast majority of us would prefer it to remain that way.
