Spelt is what we generally use. Spelled is what the Americans generally use. Neither is necessarily wrong, it's just a 'local acceptance' thing. EDIT: Removed due to no desire to initiate discourse with said poster.

My avatar isn't a photograph, it is a short piece of video made into a loop that has been posted on a free-to-use website. That is in contrast to your image which was taken by a professional photographer (or TV cameraman if it's a still), which means the copyright belongs to whoever purchased the memory card it was taken on. You might get away with it but I'd be careful about selling fanzines for money at the ground if it contains images taken by photographers who may well be present and who might feel you should have at least asked permission. Usually it costs around £40 a pop for a photo. One way round it might be to put a free ad for the KM in it each week, then you might get some pics to use gratis from them. I used that trick myself when I wrote a book a few years ago, they can be flexible.
I'm not trying to be obstructive, I think it's great that you are giving a fanzine a go but I know from experience that you can't just use any old photo you can find on the web for it, without getting permisson first.

Because, dear Heathside, if that had been the case he would have said so in his previous post instead of trying to throw my comments back at me.
Maybe you could just give him permission to use stills from your video - that would help him, perhaps?
You and I both know the photographers who turn up pitchside at the Gallagher are pro's and they don't do it simply for the love of football. That's why the various local rag websites often use library images for their reports - they aren't prepared to pay high fees for actual images of the game.
Look, I've said my piece, it's up to him whether he risks using copyrighted images in the fanzine, all I'm saying is, it's chancy and he should not be surprised if he is challenged about it.

Jayser, Thankyou for the advice. This was something that was sorted long before the cover was finalised. However, I hope you find my new avatar more to your taste, if you noticed the subtle differences? IAGA

I"ve seen NLP photographers at quite a few games.

It's All Gone Amber WILL be on sale this Saturday. We are still chasing permission from The Tanners to sell in the ground, will chase them up tomorrow about that. A couple of contributors will have them on them, and will be selling them in The Running Horse, which is a 5 minutes walk from the ground.
How many supporters will be making the journey? 200 has been suggested as a good estimate
